Does any1 know where can I get additional battery for Legend?
Don't want unbrand d, and similar brand to Novacell,
because ori battery damn expensive, unbrand 1 is worry of quality.

QUOTE(mycacha @ Apr 26 2010, 03:18 PM) i'm not keen to sign up DiGi plan as I not a frequent call and data plan user, My working place and house is WiFi ready. Thats why looks for Non Contract package. Any one get lower than that by the way? RM1999? How about the screen protector? did they gift to you? Screen protector is not available yet. I'm not sure HTC Hero screen protector is compatible or not.Try to purchase from Invisible Shield, that's so nice. P/S: from my opinion, quite a waste if using a smartphone w/o data plan, eventough WIFI is so wide now, but still is dependent. with data plan, you can get update eg( facebook, news, email and etc) immediately. |

QUOTE(jutamind @ Apr 29 2010, 03:10 PM) anyone knows how to display album art in the standard music player in legend? I've created a main folder called Music and then subfolders consisting of artist/album name. in these subfolders, i put albumart.jpg album cover. Can it be case sensitive? since android is linux basedhowever, the std music player doesnt seems to read from albumart.jpg Added on April 29, 2010, 3:43 pmhow do i use mp3 as the default notification sound? i'm looking at this article: http://www.htc.com/uk/faqs.aspx?p_id=313&cat=&id=126224 but i dont seem to find media > audio > notifications folder. btw, i'm using my own microsd card. |

QUOTE(r47z @ Apr 30 2010, 10:00 AM) seems 2 have an issue rooting with hboot ver. 0.43.0001 think most of the legend users are having this version. but Paul said this version is supported. Maybe just the step wrong. Just read from china web site, and quite agree with the authorIf you just want to "chase the trend" and root ur device, it is really Unnecessary and put ur device in risk.(if you are noob to root) for App2SD, if you r not maniac/crazy installer, I think 180+ mb memory is sufficient, as nowadays most applications are smart enough, only the core files are store in internal memory, which is less then few mb. So why want to root ur device. The only possible reason to root , mostly is because of the visualization of ur device. Eg. u want to remove those default HTC apps, u want a animated wallpapaer. So......... if not familiar with how to root, better just wait official update for ur device, secure. P/S: heard that newer version of android support App2SD. Hope its not just rumor |

QUOTE(kanethesun @ Apr 30 2010, 10:42 AM) but if we dont root, we can install apps into memory card isnt it? is depends on user lo. the apps u need and frequence use d, 10++,the internal memory is just not so enough for some people game u play most , also should around 10 - 20 internal memory should still enough for this volume. |

QUOTE(golvin @ Apr 30 2010, 01:57 PM) Looks like i was given an inaccurate info =\ + and - actually is almost same, if use 12 months contract to compare.Thought Maxis don't have plans to bring in Android soon. Anyway, the packages are not as attractive as DiGi SmartPlan. But maxis always lose a bit in marketing strategy , compare to digi (just my opinion). But a good compete can bring more benefits to consumer |

QUOTE(emperor^10 @ May 3 2010, 10:57 AM) Belkin is a better choice although it's more expensive... But i'm looking for something which has a more stable power output.... You can try cliptec, Besides Apple stores? Wat other brands tat u guys can recommend??? i afraid tat those lousy car charger will damage our battery in long term... :hehe... http://www.cliptec.com/asia/charger.html cheap and not bad I bought with RM29.9. Actual charger not that much expensive. Nokia ori charger just cost RM40. so no need to costly. and normally battery lifespan just 2-3 years. |
