more important is how fast they can activate my line.. my telephone line was installed on saturday, activated on monday.. now waiting for streamyx to activate my account...

so many departments and all are not connected.. even the technician that installed my line also say have to wait patiently as they have to forward all the application to many departments to have it approved...

what an inefficient way of doing things... all because there's no competition.. if got competition, i think within an hour can have everything done..

the T&C said collect from tmpoint after success installation
but yes...the tmpoint gal said it will be courier to us

I want to upgrade to 4Mb BB package from my existing 1Mb package. How is the process of getting TM to check whether my area have to coverage of 4Mb? Just go TM to register, then they will come to house to check? How long it will take for them to check?

Also, if say, my area got coverage and I am upgrading to 4Mb BB, while waiting TM to do their work, what with happen to my current connection? Will I be disconnected for a period of time before they activate the new package?

First, they wil check using system, if cable distance >3km then ur upgrade wil be rejected.
If cable distance <3km, TM wil assign a contractor to check ur house connection.

What will happen to the "advance charge of the 2nd month subcription fee", when in future we upgrade to other package or in case of termination after the contract period ?

Yeah they are abit slow when come to new installation & process but I can confirmed to you based on my jumped ship experience to P1 Wimax...Installation almost instant but once installed & you got bad connection using p1..It will takes ages & no technician coming at all!! That's why I potonged them liao joined bck Streamyx..haizzz...From past experience wth streamyx..U called Today, technician will be at your door step nxt day!..My jumped ship was bcos the streamyx technician told me my underground cable gone & might take ~ a week or two to fix..I straight away jumped ship the nxt day without realising that P1 once no connection, It can be as long as > 1mth!!

OK here's my timeline:

Submit application: 4/3/2010
Istallation of phone: 8/3/2010
Streamyx approval & appointement: 11/3/2010
Installation of Modem: 13/3/2010
Receiving DECT phone: Dunno lol

So from the date of application till the date of streamyx for new customer can be as long as 2 weeks & not 1 week as what they told me...when I asked on Thursday when the CS of TM called me..They told me lotsa new cases & thus process of approval getting longer..& my case only came to her n that day!

hello all... any idea wuts the total monthly bill if subscribe to the rm110 blockbuster package? (if no phone called is made during that whole month)

hmm the confusing part is... blockbuster deals come with free calls to tm homeline nationwide.. and whats the purpose for the add-on package voice deal ? which is offering the same thing

1mbps also ok liao...Still getting stable 1500-1700kbps. Me too subscribing for 4mbps but I know sure rejected wan bcos of the distance (Mine is >9km to the nearest station.

sigh.. still waiting the technician to come my place to check the line, so can ask them to cap our speed higher?

anyone tried to install the streamyx-in-a-box thing? i couldn't get the tech to come to my place (not in during working hours) thus i collected the streamyx-in-a-box and did the installation myself.

The activation slip says i need to sms in stxactv (login name) to 33535 which i did many times since yesterday and today.. however, i keep getting this message from digi "the service you requested is busy, please try again later".

I called 100 to check and they are also stumped.. any one has any advice?

yesterday a technician sent the modem to me(not Riger but Innacomm),
and he asked me to collect the phone at TM point,
i went to there after he left,
and i got the dect phone.

it is not panansonic,
but u have the option to choose whether Aztech or another phone, i cant remember the name,
i choose Aztech because it is branded, hehe..

it is for the users that do not subscribe to streamyx.

before this i also confuse of this,
why the call rate become expensive if i subscribed to the 'add on' package..

see clearly on the page,
u will see they have 2 package: broadband+voice deals and voice deals..

twl, yours is RM90 package kah..bcos for 1mbps & above they said will courier to me..(Panasonic set)

it is really nice if 1mbps can get panasonic set,
but my another account already upgrade to RM110 package on last year(1mbps)...
