Finally got my line activated and running.. took 10 days from application of phone line to finally being able to use it.

They capped my line to 1.5mbps and upload 750kbps. I'm on 1mbps.

Speedtest shows 1.4mbps constant speed..

do u means u took 10 days to get both fixed line and streamyx activated?

my application has no news at all, nobody comes to my house and install the phone so i have to see what happen on next week.

argh... i m too waiting for the technician to come to my house to check if my line able to support 4mb, and it has been almost 1 week.

Tomorrow already saturday, seem i have no luck this week... Will them call us on our handphone number or house number? I will not be in Malaysia the whole next week, scare if later I miss their call and then the installation will be further postponed indefinitely = =

I had BAD and WORST experience with this package...

When it first came out, I quickly went to TMPOINT SETAPAK to register 4mbps package... 5 days later (as I was away for oversea trip), I called 100 to check the status, and they said my cable could not support 4mbps.. OK FINEE! I asked her, is it possible for automatic downgrade to 1mbps,as I hate going there again, she later clarified I need to re-register.. OK FINEE!

The next morning, I went to TM POINT SETAPAK again, to re-register myself. To my shock, that said he cannot proceed since my 4mbps order was still pending. I then argued, why did it take so long to cancel such order. As it was clearly said the line cannot support, then just cancel the damn application. He then promised me to forward my new application (1mbps) within next two days. I just simply agreed..

3 days after my 2nd trip to TMPOINT SETAPAK, I called 100 just to check the status. I was shocked to discover that there was no such application of 1mbps!!! *&**&^^%%!! I quickly made quick stopover at TMPOINT SETAPAK (again??) and rushed to the same guy. He was pretty panicked as he was looking for my form. It was under several other forms, And, I was like, wut the...? I calmed myself and waited professionally.

One hour after that, as he went in and out of his office, he then suddenly said " OH bang, dah ada register, kejap sy print" When I looked at the printed confirmation slip, I was again shocked to see that I am now registered to an agent. And the package registered was WIFI@HOME, rather than BLOCKBUSTER DEAL. I began to lose patience, and I then increased my tone. He quickly went to his office again. One hour later, he came out with his manager, a lady. She then said she has requested TM HQ to cancel this order and proceed with the new form. She infact gave her personal promise. As I need to fetch my wife (as it was 5 15 pm already), I just cut them loose.

4 days after that, I received a letter from TM. They said my area is not supported by Streamyx. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!! vmad.gif vmad.gif Ironically, 2 days ago, TM came to my apartment and opened up a booth for Streamyx and Homeline since my apartment is a new apartment.

i think on the receipt have his name and company name, hehe..
anyway, it depends on ur friend.

as my memory,
last year when i apply streamyx,
they also install my phone line after certain days,
i am waiting long time but do not get any calls,
i think this is the efficient of TM.

I just call TM CS, they said they didnt receive any order of my upgrade to 4mb blockbuster deal mad.gif thou i m doing it in TMpoint with a upgrade confirmation receipt mad.gif mad.gif

I'd suggest that those who wants to get the blockbuster deal sign up through agents instead of going to TM Point.. I went to TM Point to sign up at first but they told me need to have my line fixed up first before can subscribe to the package.. I'm like, isn't the package supposed to come with telephone line? Aren't they supposed to do the registration all at one place?

In the end fed up with TM point. I signed up with one of the agent here in LYN. His userid is onebroadband and i highly recommend him. Contacted him to sign up on Monday, he sent in the application immediately. The following sat, the Technician came to fix up my telephone line (which took less than 15 mins). Streamyx activation slip was given on Tuesday, i went to see him to collect my modem as i wanted to install it myself instead of waiting for the technician to come again (not at home during office hours during weekdays). Set up the modem, but streamyx wasn't activated yet (their smsing thing to 33535 to activate the account is bullshit.. Keep getting the "Service is busy, please try again" message). 2 phone calls to TMnet resulted in my port being set up the next day and account activated the following day.. As a bonus, they capped my line to 1.5mbps dl. Youtube all works fine.

better register through reseller. i regieter with mybroadband4u.com very fast response.got my line activated in 4 days.

Yeap, I think I want to conclude something based on my terrible experiece dealing with TM Point; if you are busy type of person, it's better to deal with REPUTABLE agent, at least you can chase him using his contact number. as for TM Point, once you submitted your form, you need to count on him to do the subsequent jobs, which in my case, they DID NOT BOTHER to do it!

im soooo annoyed with TM!!

i actually went tmpoint to upgrade my 1mb to 4mb on last monday, bt this morning call the CS, they say they didn't have any order... so I need to go tmpoint again on monday or having agent to settle it? (I was told in tmpoint that 4mb is available in my area).. so mafan!

you cant call the tmpoint whether support in your area or not.

you go to tm point, provide them ur house contact number, ask them this number support 4mbps or not.

they will use the system to check, range from exchange to ur phone.

Guys, please take note that the Free Calls is effective in your NEXT billing cycle. So, dont straight away gayut after you got your Stimix activated.. later pengsan tgk bill plak.. lol
