The idea of zero entry fees is very misleading..

entry fees... isn't that referring to new signups? new entry into streamyx?

if they are making it free for those who are upgrading their account, that isn't new entry anymore..

bleh, trust TM to come up with all these nonsense t&c and we still have to comply cos there's no other landline broadband provider...

Yes it refers to zero entry cost for Streamyx, pls bear in mind that before this u must pay activation fee RM75 and Installation charge RM88 (compulsory for 2M/4M package), since both of these charges are waived now, thats y it is called zero entry cost. Therefore I dont think there is any misleading issue here. Somemore it is very common to pay deposit for new application and it is also refundable.

Therefore for new phone line n Streamyx application, for me, the most unreasonable cost is the wiring charge RM30 only.

After subscribe BLOCKBUSTER DEALS, if u wan Super Upgrade Deals, the free call to fix line will be no more.. that means it will revert back to old combo package.. and any call you make to fixed line will oso b charged..

U are confusing ppl man.. The super upgrade deal only for existing customer wth min 1 year subscrition hor. If u sign up blockbuster deal u need to wait 1 year to get that unless u wanna upgrade to HSBB coming mths, that's diff story.

BTW both Blockbuster & also the super upgrade packages also having free call to all fixed line...What say you?

i applied combo pack RM90 3 months ago, can i switch to this blockbuster deals now ? if can, they will charge me any fees or not ?

U can migrate to this package at TMpoint, no extra charges.

Tried to apply for this package but application cannot be processed as the modem is out of stock at TMpoint

apparently, i still got charged rm88 for my upgrade to 4mbps package.. currently i'm using standard 1mbps rm88 package.. do u guys think the made a mistake charging me, the installation charge should be waived right? am i entitled to get a refund?

Just to get everyone opinion.

I am using Combo 1Mbps at the moment, register under my wife's name.

Have checked with TM that to get the wireless modem and Dect Phone free, it must be an upgrade or new registration.

I am thinking of terminate my wife account and apply using my name to get both the freebis with 1Mbps package (Can't upgrade to 2Mbps package because too far from exchange), but the TM personnel told me that i can only apply for new streamyx account after 1 month from the date my wife account is terminated. Is that true??? One month gap before I can apply?

The upgrade mentioned in the BB deal is I have to upgrade the speed as well from 1Mbps to 2Mbps, however the problem is my area doesn't support 2Mbps....

i apply at TM point, they just inform me that there will be installation charge of rm88 and will be included on my 1st month bill which should be next month..
is this correct? there shouldn't be any installation charge, is it not? if they do charge me, guess i have to file a complaint then.. have to wait for my 1st bill to arrive 1st..

TMpoint staff told me there wouldn't be any installation charge or activation fee. It's stated clearly in the brochure itself.

I got my blockbuster 1mbps installed dy..Originally subscribed for 4mbps but according to them my area too far & no port dy. So only got 1mbps..

Another problem is..The free DECT phone..For those going for 1mbps & above, the free phone only will be posted to us!! They should hv told me earlier & even the isntaller & reseeler telling diff story..1st said installer will come wth the phone, thereafter the installer ask me to go to TMpoint & collect.

I went there Y'day to be told it will takes time for them to post the phone..Collection only for those on 512kbps line. Those are not panasonic DECT so can collect..1mbps & above will be given panasonic DECt & takes time wor???
