Probably with i3 and the lower end HD5000 series

Well, the current line from Arrandale isn't really optimized in their power consumption, so not much different from the c2d + gma4500mhd setup except in idle mode.
The Q2 Arrandale perhaps would give better battery life.

As for m11x, it uses ULV + gma to reach 6 hours, doubt i5/i7 + Intel HD can reach there

oh wait m11x has 8-cell so its up to 6 hours normal use on IGPU

No lerr..RM3799 includes the RM200 rebate starting from today.Yesterday it was RM3599 including RM200 rebate..meaning that Dell increased the base price

Somehow i managed to get it at RM3599 instead

I'm not desperate yet... Hoping Dell would upgrade the SXPS's GPU, maybe when they refresh the SXPS 13...? Anyway, i'm willing to wait until June/July, so still a long way to go

yeah, i use the old price le. cause before that i already ask the quotation lor. then that fellow reply me soooooo slow. 1 day 1 msg. so finally today only manage to deal.
actually is worth to buy at RM 3599. i think is best jor with this type of sepc and brand. Compare to BenQ s57 , alot people mention is good and worth.
But now XPS 16 with RM 3599, is more worth! =D
In my opinion no point waiting for new GPU to come out, the price for sure is RM 4 k above.

Unomi....you're kinda lucky in a way since u ordered your SXPS 16 before RM3599>RM3799.I wanted to buy the RM3599 the next day but found out it had already change to RM3599 after 12am So i immediately sent an email to the Sales Agent telling them of my problem.She told me that i could still get the RM3599 price even though the promotion is already over Then she gave me the quotation form and after that, i asked for a discount and freebies although i know chances are slim since she gave me a price when the promo is already over She said no discount and no freebies

RM3599 is already a very good price for the Studio XPS 16.After the P8700 is phased out...most likely the i5-430M(RM4199) will stay there for some time.Just like the RM2699(T6600) and RM3299(P8700) of the Studio 15 line which now has already been replaced by the i5 series staring minimum at RM3299 for i5-430M

hi everyone i have bought a new lappy xps16 while i install i facing one problem, i install every of the software i needed all install accordingly
but only left msn cant install, i dl latest msn version n in progress install cant function as usual, then i try install old version, it prohibit me to go further
and with instruction it ask me to uninstall the later version msn i idid remove the latest version, but it keep pop up with same message, whats going on?

to be honest, even though i using this laptop, i still not 100% fully utilise its performance XD. i would say 60% only coz now i seldom play games anymore, mostly use it to FB,blog, youtube and msn only

ermm, want to ask those sxps16 owners, do u guys ever experience the sound volumn which is like unstable coz while i watching movie, the sound suddenly become soft and suddenly back to normal..how to solve this ?

i dont encounter that problem when i play games...

but when u turn the volume around 30-40% u wont notice it, when u turn it more than 50-60% u will hear that, i think is my speaker problem bah

mine still A10, dont dare to update anymore XD . u can check ur bios version by clicking dell support centre then click about ur system then click system information

haha true also..i think i not yet use my laptop for 10 times ...mostly use desktop as my lappy will be use as my desktop replacement when i go oversea

i used kmplayer to play hang out, used wmp work fine.
creative n SRS which program better ?

Gotta burn in the speakers..perhaps leave it to play 20 hours straight
