I'm not desperate yet... Hoping Dell would upgrade the SXPS's GPU, maybe when they refresh the SXPS 13...? Anyway, i'm willing to wait until June/July, so still a long way to go

Just noticed that SXPS 13 is not shown anymore when narrowing down the search options to only Studio XPS laptops. Ending that particular line or refresh?

Sounds doable... Thing is, diff people might want diff configurations. So i'm not sure how it'll work. We'll see when the refresh is confirmed

I was under the impression that payment can be done individually, just through the same SA?

Not purposely waiting for the GPU refresh... Just need to get my lappie before i fly off to US, which is in Aug. So no rush. Might as well wait. I would prefer other upgrades like maybe a USB3.0 tho

I am SO NOT going to go for another one because of the USB 3.0 lah... It's a feature i'd like to have, but definitely not a dealbreaker for me

Bleh, seems like SXPS 13 is back on Dell's site. No refresh pulak I wonder if there'll be news from Dell during CeBIT, concerning the SXPS line that is.

Paid the down payment for a 1645 through a Digital Stuff SA, was told that i'd be getting it within 2 or 3 weeks, but eventually after 1 month only they contacted me and said that the unit is ready to be collected. Requested for a refund of my RM300 deposit since they didn't deliver as they promised. At least getting the refund was a quick and painless experience, so not that pissed at them as before

On another note, i wouldn't mind them sticking to the old GPU. Would prefer if they like, rearrange the heating vent position so that it wouldn't blow the hot air at the screen. Not keeping my hopes high though...

Change whole palm rest? What if you covered it with transparent sticker already? Can remove and reapply ah?

Dell took it off from their website sometime ago, it appeared sometime later, and now its gone again. Give it a day or two, they might put it back up on the website again Not too sure about it getting discontinued tho...

Not sure about the upcoming PC Fair, but last PC Fair (PIKOM III, 2009) there were NO promotions online on Dell's website. At least none for SXPS 16 T_T

Hmm... Exactly the same thing DigitalStuff offered when i *almost* bought the SXPS 16 end of last year.

What's with all the hype about a refresh after CNY? Feels like ages since CNY and still no news yet... I've been checking Engadget everyday in hopes of some teeny tiny lil bit of rumor concerning the SXPS line

Is it in anyway possible they would try to clear their stock during the upcoming PC Fair and thus roll out the new ones AFTER the PC Fair, or is it just my wishful thinking?

Got connected with Quinn_Ooi second time round. My "experience" with her was brief and didn't even get a quote from her... After i told her the specs i wanna upgrade, didn't get any reply from her... until finally got disconnected by the system.

Am i doing this wrong, or is it just my unlucky day today?
