Yea...what are you guys using to cover the speaker holes and the battery hole(when u take out the battery). Was thinking of using wrapping paper(the ones to wrap school books tongue.gif )

And use cellophane tape? shocking.gif Or gum? shakehead.gif

And also planning to cover all the glossy areas asap...perhaps using screen protector...something thin and stick on-don't need gum or whatsoever to stick it

RE5 at 1920x1080 AA off settings high vertical sync off

Using variable benchmark get average of 29.1fps rclxms.gif

At 1280x720 get average of 40fps rclxms.gif

Good peformance biggrin.gif

Btw:Anyone noticed that it's kinda laggy when scrolling down in mozilla in 1080p...IE8 is fine

Hey guys I've gotta question, if you were to use the laptop with power supply, it would be better to remove the battery right?

hmm.gif In my opinion, is a big YES though got some people who think that Lithium- Ion battery can automatically disconnect from the charging current when the battery has fully charged ... But, bear in mind that heat is a big foe for battery. If you are using your laptop with AC adapter and battery together, the heat generated by the laptop may gradually degrades the battery life ...

Guys

If i reformat my laptop, would i still get the Dell application like Dell dock,Dell Data safe,Dell remote access which are not found in the driver/app cd provided. The reason why i'm contemplating on reformatting is because i only have one HDD partition which is C drive and would like another one (D).

My last experience with reformatting was with my Fujitsu S7110.I lost a lot of extra programs like Roxio,Microsoft Office 2007 mad.gif and other useful stuffs given by Fujitsu, after the reformat. So i'm pretty scared history would repeat itself when i reformat my SXPS 16 as i do not want to lose ther Dell Dock,Dell apps,Microsoft Works and etc.

So that's my problem so far.And not forgetting that i'll be calling Dell tomorrow to fix an appointment with the technical team to repair my laptop speakers and probably ask him/her about the partitioning.

Some forumers noted that Dell will roll out the HD5000 line after CNY but now no news yet.But most likely would be around HD57XX series....in fact was once quoted that it would be a HD5730 smile.gif
