hey guys should i wait til after chinese new year to get this laptop? i heard that they're gonna update their gpu, if it happens would the price be increased?

i called the SA earlier today he told me that it's gonna refresh the GPU in march or after CNY.

1 more month of waiting =.="

yeah if the pricing rises then i might have to buy the laptop now.

hmm i feel like getting the laptop now itself, don't wanna wait again despite the gpu refresh. im not a heavy gamer anyway, only play games like dragon age and rpg games, no fps or any of the sort. so the HD 4670 would be sufficient, no?

placed my order with dell alrdy, i bought the Red Merlot SXPS16 with core i5 520 2.4GHz. i ordered through phone though, the guy said he would email me the details but i havent received yet, is this normal? i think i should call back the SA tmrw.

oo ok then, im just kinda worried since i didnt get any reference number or anything, other than the SA's number.

how long does it normally take for dell to ship?

hmm i think im gonna upgrade my sxps16 warranty to 3 years and complete cover, good idea?

im wondering if 2 years down the line and the sxps got updated and what not then suddenly my sxps rosak and they have to replace it, will they give the latest model? heheheh

for sxps the 3 year extension is RM577, though there's the DellCarePlus which i think includes 2 years CC is about RM289.

unless you're talking about after sales extension, the SA told me that it would cost about RM500+ a year.

i saw the pics and was like "dammm", what i don't understand is why is xKAIZERUx's Merlot Red's leather part is pink, completely different from the above pic.

more pictures of what i thought the merlot red colour is gonna be

you know what i'll do if the GPU refresh, when i get my laptop if the gpu does refresh(to something really worthwhile) then i'll just return the laptop within the 2 weeks period, i dont mind paying the RM80 penalty.
