QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 8 2010, 10:19 PM) It depends on bank. Thanks for the info. For CIMB DA, they'll increase the limit after certain period of usage and I got it. For MBB, I got nothing even though I used the card for reaching 2 years. Anyway the credit limit increase be done through phone call to their customer services ? & by the way, do you use CIMB DA frequently & are a good payee, that they increase your limit ? |

QUOTE(nujikabane @ Feb 8 2010, 10:40 PM) Thanks for the info. CIMB DA is my least used card. I used for installament and balance transfer. I don't default my CC payment. The interest is mad. Anyway the credit limit increase be done through phone call to their customer services ? & by the way, do you use CIMB DA frequently & are a good payee, that they increase your limit ? Usually permanent credit limit require some document proving. Temporary increase through a call is available to banks like Citibank (as far as I'm aware). |

Hm then it depends on you on whether you'd like to keep the card or not.but, wateve it is, it their loss not to accept our application for their product.. my case ere, got cimb cc, i keep it for their home living exhibition crdmember benefits. still thinking whether wana terminate or not.worth...or not... jst for a little discussion But if you seldom use the card, and you have other credit cards, then I think it's a good idea to just cancel the cimb cc, or cancel the other card and keep cimb cc, at least you still get the benefits and saved by terminating other cards QUOTE CIMB DA is my least used card. I used for installament and balance transfer. I don't default my CC payment. The interest is mad. Usually permanent credit limit require some document proving. Temporary increase through a call is available to banks like Citibank (as far as I'm aware). Oic, then I think permanent credit limit increase can't be done through phone call, as the banks would need documentations. Thanks for the info |

QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 8 2010, 11:01 PM) I think first year free only, subsequent need to call up. However I heard cases of SCB give direct credit between RM 100 to 200 for new card approval. Not sure how true it is though. |

QUOTE(roy918 @ Feb 7 2010, 10:51 AM) Question to Maybank why there is petronas visa gold or ask them show you the prove that you have applied for it. wow... ic ic... that's a very useful information.. thanks~~Else you need to do something (lodge police report on Maybank or to BNM) and not just simply cancel it. Imagine what if they "get" you a loan that you never apply. By the way, you will be charged RM50 once a credit card is issued. You will have to pay for it even you cancel it (if your card approved after 31/12/2009). will find maybank to explain abt this... they just simply issue me this visa gold petronas if really wanna cancel should be no problem one la like u said... but is there anyone here that experienced the same case as me? |
