Any more clues on how those customers managed to do that?
Because these privileged few are some of their best customers with Millions of Ringgit stash somewhere within the HSBC Group i suppose tongue.gif

currently i have some ezy payment tied to my petronas maybankard, would like to switch from that to amex gold + visa debit. (cancelling the petronas)

since treatpoints for cc and dc is separate, it means i have to redeem all points.

how about ezy payment? can shift over to amex gold? or have to wait until settle all before cancelling? or can settle lump sum then cancel?

also, amex gold from maybank offer ezy payment?

Wanna ask any differences upgrading from Citibank Gold to Platinum or not? The citibank members said since I travel a lot, the Platinum cards allow me to masuk the Business Class area lounge in KLIA. Besides that I didn't really listen or comprehend those other benefits she said liao.
You were referred to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge, not Golden Lounge. Cardholders of Citibank Plat CCs issed in Malaysia can only access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge, not airport lounges worldwide. To be frank, nothing is special in KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge. Food there sucks!

QUOTE(hye @ Feb 4 2010, 08:33 PM)
The access to the lounge in KLIA is limited to a certain number of pax per month. It's hard to say but roughly by the middle of the month the quota are all used up already.
She referred to Citibank Plat cc. Unlike those Plat CCs issued by some other banks, Citibank Plat cc holders are allowed to enter KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge without any limits.

If you don't use it, cancel it as you will get charged the RM50 service tax for it.

Question to Maybank why there is petronas visa gold or ask them show you the prove that you have applied for it.
Else you need to do something (lodge police report on Maybank or to BNM) and not just simply cancel it.
Imagine what if they "get" you a loan that you never apply.

By the way, you will be charged RM50 once a credit card is issued. You will have to pay for it even you cancel it (if your card approved after 31/12/2009).

nono, both of you are mistaken.

interest is calculated in a per annum basis.

So assuming interest is 12%, then u get 1% a moth. 18% then its 1.5% a month etc.

BUT, that is just interest. You still have to pay your principal. If not you will be forever in debt.

RM2030 if only you want to settle all your debt in once.
RM2000 + (RM2000 x 0.015) = RM2030

I thought the RM50 service tax is only charged upon activation of the card?
