Haha,.... i guess the best card to get for foreign trips is still MBB. tongue.gif

I totally agree... Alliance having NIL admin charges is totally not right.
I was informed by MBB Customer Service that MBB only charge what Visa/MC forex conversion rate only. no admin fee.
AMEX does have admin fee.

Believe you have been misinformed. Maybank does have foreign currency conversion administration fee. For VISA and Mastercard, the admin fee is 0.5% and 1.5% for all range of AMEX cards bearing the "Maybankard" logo. As for a true AMEX cards without any Maybank logo, the admin fee is 2.5%.

To make it simple for you all to compare :
Maybank VISA/Mastercard - 0.5%
AMEX with Maybankard logo/Ikhwan AMEX - 1.5%
AMEX (green/gold/platinum charge card & gold/platinum credit card without Maybank logo) - 2.5%

Does MBB use the Visa/MC forex rate or MBB Forex rates ?

J Form or EA statement comes from income tax.
*
Form J used to come from LHDN (before Self-Assessment System)
Form EA you get from your employer (usually before Mar-Apr) for tax filling.

You won't get back the RM2K CL until you complete your entire installments.
Is the above true for all banks ?
I thought we can "gain" back some CL once we start paying the monthly 0% installments.... cry.gif

To get higher credit limit, the bank need your income statement to support it, right ?

You can get DA Platinum with salary of RM80k per annum.

Looking at the expiry date may not be the exact anniversary month they charge the RM50. Best to call the CS.

David83: I think you need to manually fill up the Credit Limit increase form at any Maybank branch.

From M2U, I just find out I can view the transaction of a Supplementary Card which doesn't belong to me.
The supplementary's CL is twice my own CL.

not true.  got an upgrade just by attaching other cards. But the bank itself got problem. Treated the upgrade card as a new card. So have to manually canacel the old card (which is another headache).
*
Which bank allows such an upgrade method ?

You can convert the Mesra points to petrol by inserting it FIRST just like a credit card.
1 Mesra Point = RM0.01 worth of Petrol
100 Mesra Point = RM1.00 worth of Petrol
1000 Mesra Point = RM10.00 worth of Petrol
10000 Mesra Point = RM100.00 worth of Petrol
