Bro, if you really need to have good sound proof, your car required to be Naked with all the seats, door panels and roof/base carpets remove.
To avoid the engine sound, you required to remove the dashboard. Some parts are difficult to fix back due to the sound proof material. Maybe the experience installer can do the magic.
Somemore, 1 layer of sound proof material can't feel the big difference... Min 2 to 3 layers if you need a good sound proof.
That's the reasons why the sound proof so expensive charged.

Looks like we are in the same boat... yah, I am aware of what needed on the soundproof but if going for the Forte.. that seems to be the next step to do with the save up... but only a possible options. they may be other stuffs that could do the same to my acceptance level of cabin ambient.

I just checked the manual. Below is the extract :

If the driver's seat belt is unfastened after the ignition is ON, the seat belt warning light blinks again for 6 seconds. If the driver's seat belt is not fastened when the ignition switch is turned ON or if it is unfastened after the ignition switch is ON, the seat belt warning chime will sound for approximately 6 seconds. At this time, if the seat belt is fastened, the chime will stop at once.

From this statment, it is something wrong with the technician, the manual or my car ?

Big G shouldn't have any problem with the 2.0sx 'CKD' price coz Hyundai Elantra 2.0 CBU had no problem being priced at RM95K. Unless some new national car is coming out soon with 'lancer-like-looks' and 'mivec 2.0 -like-powertrain'. Then it'll be waja vs forte war.

1 month after booking .. i've lost most of my craziness over forte. Quit asking the SA . just wanna wait and see. The 156 hp and 194 torque is the only thing that's keeping my booking.

I think last time perodua also had this same kind of problem.. early days when they are selling the 1st myvi.. I heard ppl took 4 - 6 months to wait.. hoho..

have hyundai got CKD price structure for 2.0 already previously?
kopitiam talk with SA mentioned that problem with forte 2.0 is CBU unit with CKD price.. first time 2.0 unit from KIA in malaysia?

why wouldn't be naza's fault..? do not tell me that naza doesnt know at all regarding this issue before or when they plan to bring in this car with this price...
on top of this, they should have enough of contingency plans.. and not keep telling us to wait..
wait without knowing the period, waiting aimlessly and hopelessly..

Myvi.. when it 1st launched.. sa promised 4-6 months.. but at last.. i got mine within 2 monts..

and naza management has full of problems..
promised to reply my email by today.. but lame excuses have been given to me saying that there are too many meetings today and caused them have no time to reply.. WTF... do not tell me that they jus got to know they have meetings to attend only by today...
