really felt sorry for those who booked 2.0. i also just received the news today while servicing my forte from the service manager. he also said 2.0 delay until mid of 2010. i didn't believe him at 1st but after reading today's post

Dealer in kota bharu says can get my 2.0 mid-feb. SA at Kia Ampang Point says can get late Jan 2010. Also said many booked 2.0 and willing to wait.
Yup ... must be due to the price structuring of a 2.0 CBU car with CKD pricing. My conclusion .. car will arrive late Jan but will not be enough to fulfill current number of booking. Hence the waiting list up to mid-2010 ... though I'm quite convince we'll the start seeing the 2.0s on the roads by feb (if there's any way to differentiate it). Pre-launch booking priority?? ... beginning to doubt it. NAZA should pause for a while their all-out forte ads and concentrate first on satisfying pre-existing bookers. More of fortes on the road is good advertisement by itself. |
