plz do check on the bill, there might be some other 3rd party stuffs they put in and charge you for it.

for my  1st service, they put in battery cap (which i'm not sure what it is for,and should have come together with the car), rainX  winscreen washer (which they claimed, they put in, but no proof at all) , fuel injector cleaner ( also no proof) ,

and the engine oil-ask for the empty tank as proof. coz the service centre i went, they told me they put in pennzoil instead of petronas syntium(so far i have not asked for any plastic tank) -if they put in cap ayam oil oso we wont know,and if engine damaged..we still have 5 years warranty,but will cause great trouble to us, while the service centre gets away with real good money
as for the fuel injector and rainX, they said it's in the standard service for every service ...which they cant show any proof to me. AND the worst part is ...THEY STILL CHARGE YOU EVEN YOU SAID YOU DONT WANT IT, it happened to me...coz i have put in my own rainX so i said i dont need them,if they want to put it in, they i say better give it to me in the bottle,but they say cannot coz they add in alittle bit of them only..and charge us rm 4+ .making hell lots of money. so i ask them not to put in, and they still charge me rm 4+ for it , so i've emailed to NAZA and now waiting for their reply.

I started to loosing it.. if the 2.0sx is not getting updated news soon. Brought my wife to test the Forte, 308 THP and 407 this afternoon with her testing all the 3 rides. ( only has the 1.6SX to test for Forte )

Ended up she does not like the Forte at all where she likes the responsiveness of the 308 and the comfort of the 407.. but I guess Naza will not cares as either of my wife's choice .. they still earn from us.

I originally started to looked at 407 and Mazda 3.. before I went and check up with the Forte 2.0SX and being the 1st / 2nd who booked the 2.0SX at the local branch.. but due to the uncertainty / no news of the Forte 2.0SX.. we started to moves back to other cars that can deliver sooner.

Kia Malaysia / Naza are trying very hard to convince potential customer that there are All CKD only and no CBU where all the Branches / Dealers are trying very hard to convince potential customer that all car are CBU and no CKD ( for now until mid next year )... even 2 different SA in the same showroom are telling each different story about CKD, CBU where there are in the same team...

Added on December 20, 2009, 12:05 amOne of the reason my wife does not like the Forte is the cabin noise .. we finally able to test out the 2nd Forte.. on certain road / speed, the road noise are very very loud. We tested all 3 cars on the same road..  and in terms of the NVH from Good to bad for the 3 rides

- Forte

They all having 17" wheels and at certain stage.. we have to raise our voice talking from front to back at only about 90km/h.

There is 1 germany brand leather at EcoTint (2 yrs warranty), Full ~ RM2K, Half ~ RM1.6

I will consider it once I decide to change to leather wrapping seat.

Added on December 21, 2009, 12:25 amStrongly recommend EcoTint tinting services coz current cur use 4 years without any problem. They direct change for me front windscreen where my car face the problem during puspakom inspection, I take it out myself and them replace new to me without any charge. After check, it coz by the film + original CBU windscreen %, they won't say anything and direct change back to same spec film to my car.

I plan to go for new promotion ~ Christmas offer:

I got Rm12K budget to allocate it after downgrade from 2.0SX to 1.6SX!

Will plan to spend some $$$ for my new Forte coz it may use for another few years...

When i was in SG, my colleague's friend took us a ride on his 1.6(SX) forte, comes with:

1. Leather seat
2. Retractable side mirror
3. 3 bluetooth buttons just right below the trip button on your left side of the dash, near your wiper control.
4. 17 inch sport rim
5. No-keyless, but ignition key

According to him, he added 1k SGD for that, maybe I have heard wrongly.

Basically, that is the 1.6(SX)

just did my glow at Sierra Glow. highly recommended. whole process took nearly 5-1/2 hours. result  enjoy the photos.


my forte under the spotlight before the polish. spotted a few minor scratches on the bonnet. 


after the glow. can't really see difference from the photos...but the glow is quite obvious in real life and better than showroom condition. overall very happy with mr. choong's service. 

just replace naza logo with 'k' logo...

hey guys, can anyone help me to check on the rear seat / boot area. There is a 3 layering chassis structure that in between the seats and the boot on the top of the opening.

Does it come with anything on the bare metal from the inside ( behind the car seats ). I can see the metal part of the chassis if looking into the boot but have no chance to check what is the opposite of it.

I am still yet to go over from the noisy sound that i heard and now I am suspecting it was probably came from that structure as it reassembling a "Drum" that could be the reason I am hearing the "Grooong Grooong" sound.. which also meant if that is the source.. it should be able to be rectify by adding sound proofing to just that area.

let me try again.. Open the boot and look into the boot. There is this Left and Right lever for you to release the 60:40 seats. In between that.. look all the way to the deepest where the boot go in.. which is the back of the 60:40 seats.. and if you release those seats.. there will be eventually a hole connecting the car boot to the inside of the cabin.

So, on top of this "Hole" there is the car's body... the Chassis where all the other cars I saw does not has that metal structure that when you look from the boot.. it is like having 3 layers like looking at the back of a staircases.

My question is.. after release the 60:40 seats.. how does that metal looks like.. does it has any carpet / padding on it ? or is just a bare metal chassis matching your car's color. I am making guessing that part of the chassis is amplifying the ground noise picked up by the 17" tires.

still confuse ? maybe i have to visit to the showroom again.

Hi guys, question about the service interval. It says 5K km or 6 months for second service. If we have a low milage car, do we HAVE to do the second service on the 6th month or we wait till odometer reach 5K km ?

......why the service center so shady one....u didnt ask them what the charge is??
