speed i'm running is 1.5mbps but my netmeter detect around 4mbps which one is true?

well i already use that modem for years and only show such problem recently Hmm... Have to spend money buy modem against ==

just make a complaint get a report number, port still 2m and 4m user name actived, night cs really good compare the day cs...

I had this problem before. The speedtest test will shoot up to unbelievable result. After change this do that, I found out that, it is the STUPID KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY causing the problem. If i disable it, the speedtest become ok. Maybe you should try it.

On an unrelevant note, i feel Kaspersky Internet Security is now becoming too agressive in default setting.

lolx.. it really worked..... i disabled the kaspersky back to normal.. like this the case will kaspersky reduce my speed?

Just find out weird finding when playing with my Linksys RV042 when i merge 2 WAN which is using 115.XXX and 218.111.XXX range i manage to get around 4xx to 5xx speed a night but when i single connect using my PC i cannot achieve that speed

Firstly you beter be correct, you have 2 phone line or 2 internet connection on your home,

if u have 2 internet connection being merge or in xp it call bridge same thing i think,

of coz you can get more speed, i have tested on wifi, i bridge it wit 2 wifi at my place shopping center,

wallah i get more than 1mbps, very fast haha only you have 2 internet, rich people can get lorr

You can combine 1.5 x 2 but your maximum speed will be 1.5 mb/s only..

Its a load balancer, where it distributes the connection within these 2 lines..

means for all the while.... load balancer only for balancing out while tmnet is having cable problem not so combining 2 line into 1?

Around RM 6XX depend on the shop also :-)

Guys, i have an issue here and i need help
i applied 4mb BB deals, and i went all the trouble installing phone line, etc
then today technician came, and he told me that i m just registered for 1mb package.
after that i called up my reseller, he told me that the package is not available @ my area anymore.
so what should i do?
i m so f*** up now.
its like i receive nth in advance that the package doesn available to me.
its just like tmnut push the package to me. and do i have to accept just like that ? paying what's more than i should have?

guy, i am going to apply 4MP streamyx package, I currently using 1MP, i wondering are we actually getting 4mp base on the location we download from, ip, and what we browsing? From the comments above, some of u are struggling... My 1mp ip away start with 60.XX...

Look like you have the same problem with me then. I never actually do much testing on this, but, a big but, i do feel a better connection for my online gaming. Maybe just my feeling and I have no proof on it. Now i normally just disable the firewall.
