I also just got the 4Mb, the technician told me yesterday, need to wait 24hr to get the line activated.

I recently got the 4Mb package, but the speed test give me really funny result. Using speedtest.net, it will begin with download speed around 1.7Mb, then shot up 25+Mb then download test complete. Using streamyx speedtest, download speed straight shot up to around 6Mb then downlod speed complete.

Wat is going on???

Well, I am not complaining about the speed is slow, I am just saying when using speedtest.net or streamyx speedtest, the download test behave very strange. When I am on 1Mb package, no such thing happen.

Anyone here know what could be the problem? When I just got the 4Mb, the speedtest seem to be ok, getting about 4Mb download speed. But now give strange result. Don know wat happen really..... But the connection still very much useable, but I suspect I most likely don get 4Mb speed. I don really download stuff from internet much, so I don really know is there an improvement on my download speed after getting 4Mb package. The only bench much I know is from Megaupload, download speed is around 60Kb only, definitely not good.

I had this problem before. The speedtest test will shoot up to unbelievable result. After change this do that, I found out that, it is the STUPID KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY causing the problem. If i disable it, the speedtest become ok. Maybe you should try it.

On an unrelevant note, i feel Kaspersky Internet Security is now becoming too agressive in default setting.

Look like you have the same problem with me then. I never actually do much testing on this, but, a big but, i do feel a better connection for my online gaming. Maybe just my feeling and I have no proof on it. Now i normally just disable the firewall.
