3) It depends ..I dont think they offer 4Mbps ADSL for companies. The other alternative is to apply for SDSL

already apply to upgrade to 4mb from 1mb package..
technician come to my house check line then said to wait for another few days..
now capped at 2mb but my modem still in g.dmt mode..
is it normal or need to change it to adsl 2+?

I had this problem before. The speedtest test will shoot up to unbelievable result. After change this do that, I found out that, it is the STUPID KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY  causing the problem. If i disable it, the speedtest become ok. Maybe you should try it.

On an unrelevant note, i feel Kaspersky Internet Security is now becoming too agressive in default setting.

You can combine 1.5 x 2  but your maximum speed will be 1.5 mb/s only..

Its a load balancer, where it distributes the connection within these 2 lines..

  Look like you have the same problem with me then. I never actually do much testing on this, but, a big but, i do feel a better connection for my online gaming. Maybe just my feeling and I have no proof on it. Now i normally just disable the firewall.

Hey guys~ This is urgent I hope someone can reply my question~

I'm staying in Cheras area which supposed to be connecting to ip 110, 118 and 115. But on 25/5 around 4pm, I suddenly got disconnected automatically. When I connect back, my ip now is 175 100%, even if I reconnect numerous times, it will not give me back the 115, 110 or 118 ip.

Does this got anything to do with the server line migration in Klang Valley?
Anyone facing the same problem as me? To be honest, the 175 sucks.

Question for the sifus.  I applied for 4mb but was informed that due to some copper issue, it cant be done.  So i ended up subscribing to the 2 mb.  I was browsing through the topics and was trying to check the snr things, then i noticed the following:-

Downstream Upstream
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 8876 1233
Rate (Kbps) 4096 509

Strange! So I tried the speedtest things and managed to get around 3.5mb download (before the current slowdown).

Does this mean I could actually get 4 mb, but Streamyx stuffed up somewhat? I can't confirm the download speed anymore due to the slowdown this week.
