P1 so damn slow tonight .. even slower than streamyx... my friend can even watch youtube HD 1080p videos while i cant even go to the website.


Added on March 4, 2010, 11:43 pmP1 used to be good when they released ... after a few months they blocked almost every international ports and including some asia ports ..

Customer service is a joke ... even streamyx customer service is more better honestly

If only P1 stop blocking the ports , it will be much more faster.

So slow already still want to block ports ..

sigh i wish i staying in singapore.

Simpang in Taiping? If yes Taiping number of subscribers still very low & thus you should be able to get full speed! i was in taiping during CNY & staying @ Tmn Kami, Aulong. I'm getting avg speed of >1200kbps & was so happy wth it..Torrenting daily & within 3 days in taping i already used up 12GB! of my bandwith torrenting there ...so fast wth avg torrent speed of 150-160KB/S!! Too bad coming bck to Puchong NO line at all!! mad.gif No choice but to cancel P1 sad.gif

Case ID : 413390
After more 3 months still waiting for the rebate and the excuse given (30 Dec 2009) is Pending Account Dept approval! When Cust Service offered the rebate (10 Dec 2009), she never said the rebate is subject to Account Dept approval. I sent out email to careline@p1.com.my on 1 Feb to follow up and no respond from P1 at all.

Yes Taiping is definitely still at infancy & lack of subscriber 7 thus I can get max & stable connection & so do u on RM49 package. however when the line getting congested esp those areas wth high P1 subscribers esp Klang Valley..everything gone kuku!! mad.gif So watch out now. Taiping & probably more new areas in M'sia probably happy right now & so do me happy wth the speed at Aulong..but once sunscribers increased..gonne liao!

Continue to report your slow line, slow response time & provide wth all supporting such as your RSSI, CNSR & TX power reading. Also continuosly call them (But try not to be nasty such as shouting/ etc) & give them dateline to rectify. Thereafter after the dateline, goto P1 & cancel & asking for waiver because no point to continue as the dateline to rectify (The no line problem surrounding Puchong Utama/Bkt puchong2 since CNY) already expired & you are not forseeing line will be better after the rectification bcos of the high RSSI/CNSR/TX power....Well they do offer me discount & waiver of fee but I lost trust wth them dy...

Hi Lowyat_P1W1MAX. My sister have subscribed to P1 Wimax service early last year. During her time using it, the service is pretty good. Speed is acceptable, and it rarely disconnects. But 2 months ago, she moved to Hulu Langat, and she couldn't get a signal there. When she go to the P1 HQ, they confirmed that Hulu Langat doesn't have coverage. So, my sister wanted to unsubscribe, as she doesn't want to pay for a service that she can't use. But the customer service officer there said can, but have to pay penalty. It's not fair to my sister coz it's not that she simply want to unsubscribe. It's because P1 doesn't provide coverage where she currently stay. Or does it mean that P1 subscribers can only move to areas that have P1 coverage? The customer service officer also suggest lending the modem out to friends who can continue using the service, but all her friends (and mine) all have internet connection already, and they're pretty satisfied with their current service. So Lowyat_P1W1MAX, what can my sister do about this? Does she really have to pay the penalty if she wants to unsubscribe? Because her reason is quite solid, P1 doesn't have coverage where she's living now. She doesn't have to pay for something like that right? I hope to hear good news from you soon Lowyat_P1W1MAX.

That's the problem wth P1. Although the CSR is OK & attentive..They will siad OK-ok..I'm sorry We will send techician & blah blah but at the end....no result. the said techinican never even cme & the unsettled report suddenly got closed!....This is the worst thing about P1 & i think P1 buddy needs to look into it. Although he replied & etc here, & even PMed me for my a/c no which I willingly gave but thereafter still nothing happened & I hv to called CSR & gave them dateline & thereafter straight away cancel! mad.gif

Well, I think they are helpful, but maybe cause the system or the problem cant be fix, so if they reply must be apologize and apologize must got flame, so they just stay silent

Hi,

i have a question regarding the FUP (fair usage policy), would be great if someone can clarify my doubt.

When in the month that they will reset the bandwidth limit? its already the 5th and my FUP still remains at 0MB.

its been well over a month that i've suffered extremely bad connection. The past month, the total of days that i can go online is nothing more than a week and even if im connected, its slow despite my FUP is still at 18GB.

Is it possible to request that my unused FUP from the past bad connections to be brought forward to this month?

Also, how accurate is the FUP really is? yes i do torrent, but still do think that the FUP accuracy is pretty much doubtful. Even after totalling up/download.

i nvr able to reach the FUP limit since connction is bad most of the time.. makes u wanna tear u head off anytime u surf.. oh 12 month contract come quick plissss
