where u get your PS2 Component Cable?

At Sungei Wang, the IT floor (forgot which shop), bought it a year ago for RM25

Bernard also got leeeehh...I bought one from bernard and one from SONY Wings last time...one cost 20 and the other cost 89 bucks.

Pic quality wise, it's the same (to my 'miskin' eyes) but the one from Sony feels more smooth when trying to insert into the PS2.

i bought from someone RM80 (or RM40 forgot loo )
Pic is quality is at the best as CRT TV can give.. Almost double quality compare with RCA cable... U can feel the difference when using CRT 29 inch & above, But with Plasma or LCD, sama aje... LCD & Plasma are built to be connected with HDMI, that will be the best.

so using that cable on a ps2 on a lcd tv

Sure difference... Mmm like this la... If use HDMI picture quality is at its best or let say 100%.. If u use component cable, average is 80% rather than use common RCA cable, only about 50%... And those are only if u connect to lcd.

i saw Phillips 32" at SEC for rm 3.5K.. it is stated FULL HD (support up to 1080p) but the native resolution is 1366 x 768p... Is it worth buying??? Pls advise, plan to get one soon.

In this case, it is not Full HD panel as you need to have 1980 x 1080 panel to enjoy full HD. This LCD will accept 1080p signal, but downgarde it to fit the native rez.

may i ask wat is ur sony bravia lcd specs? is it 32 inch, full hd?
do i need to buy full hd to enjoy ps3? need these info b4 i get my ps3

Philips has one 32" with Pixel Plus 2 tech at RM 3499, Desa HT in Lowyat. I would have bought that one, but it wasn't available when I was looking around.

If you have the cash, get the 32" with Pixel Perfect HD. It;s way better the Pixel Plus

Yeah I know, but I can't afford Pixel Perfect right now... it'll have to wait a few years. Pixel Plus 2 and 3 are priced GREAT right now tho.

i hav set my sight on sony bravia 32S310A . hopefully i can get it next year ,then maybe i add home theater system also .

any way do u guy know around how much is a HDMI cable and DVD COMPONENT cable?
