i have a problem.. Previously i'm playing PS2 + flat CRT 29 in + component cable. Currently playing PS2 + wide screen 32 in + component cable. The image that 29 produce is sharper than the wide screen, what should i do??? and also the refresh rate is a bit slower than the 29 in crt!!! Somebody.... Added on July 16, 2007, 11:04 amQUOTE(ramlijefri @ Jul 15 2007, 12:44 PM) do u really need a 32 incher or above to play 360? I totof getting a tv,26 inches enough i think, for my room for x box 360, as my old tv is crt 21inches... also, what's the 'average' condition u need for your x box360 games to look nice? i assme a hd ready crt (the guy said it can go up to 720p and 1080i) is useful enough... yes i do. Need For speed underground, on wide screen... yeahh.. Actually, its all about personal satisfaction... (waiting for WEPES2008 widescreen version) This post has been edited by hlyshgrsyd: Jul 16 2007, 11:04 AM

QUOTE(lapaq @ Nov 18 2007, 11:42 AM) Bernard also got leeeehh...I bought one from bernard and one from SONY Wings last time...one cost 20 and the other cost 89 bucks. Pic quality wise, it's the same (to my 'miskin' eyes) but the one from Sony feels more smooth when trying to insert into the PS2. i bought from someone RM80 (or RM40 forgot loo ) Pic is quality is at the best as CRT TV can give.. Almost double quality compare with RCA cable... U can feel the difference when using CRT 29 inch & above, But with Plasma or LCD, sama aje... LCD & Plasma are built to be connected with HDMI, that will be the best.

Sure difference... Mmm like this la... If use HDMI picture quality is at its best or let say 100%.. If u use component cable, average is 80% rather than use common RCA cable, only about 50%... And those are only if u connect to lcd.

QUOTE(Lone*Wolf @ Jan 24 2008, 08:06 PM) Thanks for the first reply, Gahleon! My old DVD Player is pre-HDMI so no HDMI ... Anyway, back to Composite v. Component. I think I should make it clearer that I have already got Composite cables (free with any player ) but should i buy the Component cable since i am getting a LCD TV? Heard the cheapo component cables (sub RM100) doesn't really make much difference fr the Composite ones and that I should get the RM200-RM300 ones to really make a difference. So, question is :- 1) What improvement Component cables have (over Composite)? (Resolution? Colour?). Is it really that apparent? 2) If there is big difference, then do i need to buy so expensive Component cable? Or the 'normal' ones will do? How much is the 'reasonable' price? Thanks again Trying to help u: 1. improvement: output more higher resolution and more colour contrast 2. just buy normal one first, if satisfy & realize then spend some money to buy HDMI player Sure will give u more satisfaction
