i am not too sure about xbox. but i guess since the xbox come with components cables, and the technology is diffrent from normal rca cables, i guess it should be okay.

but for astro, any lcd or hd tv is not compatible yet.
you can still watch lar, but u will realize the ppl are all stratch a little.
astro is yet to come out with the technology yet.

and please be informed those tv that u see in display are pre-recorded football matches taken from satelite tv and its not astro. thats why its very clear.

i am using the samsung 32'
the one model before the blue light at the bottom
its seems okay to me.
watch dvd is very clear.
not yet try xbox 360 or ps3 tho

its based on preferences...
so if i like samsung, doesnt mean you have to like samsung
and if u like sony doesnt mean i like sony...

best is go see all the tvs that u want to see
then u might be able to choose the tv u want.

Its all about satisfactory.
Only reason i got samsung, is because of the silky finishing.
And i got it at a much cheaper price compared to Sony.
So i have no regrets.

I dont bother to tweak.
The samsung i have only for astro and xbox360
No tweaking rquired yet.

For astro, how bad u tweak also ppl are still fat.
Unless Astro update their services to be HD Compatible.

With XBOX 360 = everything is cool.
Most likely tweak when have the HD-DVD Drive

from what i understand
the lcd tv that are on display most of them are using football rite.
and some sources says that the football is pre-recorded from satelite tv.
and those satelite tv/cable tv has much better quality compare to astro.
again correct me if i am wrong.
sometimes sources are bull as well.

but not all tv comes with panoramic wide. (black lines on the top and bottom to even out the image)
all astro become line watching dvd which is quite cool.

and how do u fix your samsung settings there?

With that budget. You could have a few choices.
Go and see for youself which one suits your eyes.
