QUOTE(ScarLight @ Mar 26 2010, 11:54 AM) Sweet i think I made my mind and going to get this.. if possible, i suggest u wait for another 1 week (2 weeks if u live in KL) for the coming-soon April PC fair.On my review side: Pro: It only uses 2 CCFL lamps rather than the standard 4 (saves energy) Brightness at 250 cd/m2 near 300(no big issues) 1920x1080 and not 1920x1200 ideal for gaming REALLY WIDE feeling!.. The rest of the detail go check here Cons: 1 year warranty correct me if I'm wrong I think its worth the price for a 24 incher without many gizmozzz ... anyone else have any comments be glad to hear from you all. |

As for special promos, there is a chance from bigger brand as they usually have lucky draws or something like that. Some even have 'sure-win' kind of lucky draw. Anyhow, you should be able to get free gifts by PIKOM themselves especially when u fork out quite big amount for you monitor. This post has been edited by kkhong: Mar 27 2010, 01:53 AM |

Thx for the insight, really all this available panel make's it so hard to decide then after u purchased it there they come all sort of reviews that condemn it As for special promos, there is a chance from bigger brand as they usually have lucky draws or something like that. QUOTE(-kytz- @ Mar 26 2010, 03:38 PM) Ya,Acer S243HL,I think this is the cheapest LED backlight display in this size you can find in Malaysia.IMO,if you want LED backlight you can go with this rather those more expensive version.QUOTE(ScarLight @ Mar 26 2010, 11:30 PM) Hmm that's true too but really what is it that i need to expect from PC Fair is it price drop, new model or special promos? Yeah,I am waiting to see got any new model launching then. But they usually just give promotion to HOT models(maybe old, smaller size model?). There is so many model how to really tell or distinguish? About the DVI cable's last time i bought 2 types of DVI - VGA converter and both didn't work for my office PC as there was no display.. then i went back to the shop i told the owner, he instead took out the one in his display set and gave it to me. Lol it really worked This post has been edited by ScarLight: Mar 27 2010, 11:23 AM |
