Thx for the insight, really all this available panel make's it so hard to decide then after u purchased it there they come all sort of reviews that condemn it
=.=
actually there's not many LCD panel maker there. Most manufacturer use panel from other company, put a frame and logo, then add some software feature and finally sells it.Samsung uses their own panel, but I heard people said that it is mixed, meaning some Samsung monitor uses samsung own panel, some use other people's panel.
I'm getting a monitor this coming April 2010 Pc fair also. Actually, the best thing is to follow ur heart, read the review as if you're using the monitor not someone who pretend to have super good eyes or expert, and make sure you're happy after buying it and don't read review anymore after you got ur monitor.

but will there be any significant difference if i use VGA and HDMI? btw, im using this monitor on my dell studio laptop
as far as i know, it's better if you use HDMI for high definition. Usually there is no difference between HDMI and DVI, it's just that DVI is a no-audio version of HDMI. Not so sure for laptop connection though
