Thx for the insight, really all this available panel make's it so hard to decide then after u purchased it there they come all sort of reviews that condemn it  vmad.gif  =.=
*
actually there's not many LCD panel maker there. Most manufacturer use panel from other company, put a frame and logo, then add some software feature and finally sells it.

Samsung uses their own panel, but I heard people said that it is mixed, meaning some Samsung monitor uses samsung own panel, some use other people's panel.

I'm getting a monitor this coming April 2010 Pc fair also. Actually, the best thing is to follow ur heart, read the review as if you're using the monitor not someone who pretend to have super good eyes or expert, and make sure you're happy after buying it and don't read review anymore after you got ur monitor.

QUOTE
but will there be any significant difference if i use VGA and HDMI? btw, im using this monitor on my dell studio laptop

as far as i know, it's better if you use HDMI for high definition. Usually there is no difference between HDMI and DVI, it's just that DVI is a no-audio version of HDMI. Not so sure for laptop connection though

for those who purchased stuffs from Dell before, try to call the SA and ask for special price. i got mine for RM619.. smile.gif not sure is it applicable for everyone since i purchased quite a lot items from them.

in klang if you want to find cap ayam HDMI you need to hunt for it. or maybe i just dont know where to get it. but if you get those "branded" one from local shops like SenQ it would be around the same price as dell. probably around RM60-70 cheapest.

The other was shorter that's why less expensive.. wink.gif

I need to ask something, i went to low yat today to check up some monitors again but i can't find any Dell resellers who have the Dell ST2410 up for display cry.gif and i really need to know which has better image quality for final decision icon_question.gif

1) Samsung 23'' P2370H
2) Samsung 23'' B2330H
3) Dell ST2410

I understand this thing are personal and differs individually but when i compared to P2370H to B2330H i found that P2370H seems clear and has a nicer color tone but was almost indistinguishable rclxub.gif but need to know how it will differ to Dell ST2410. Maybe someone with similar opinion could help out or owners of ST2410 got something to share?

u want cables.....just go to tesco....there should be some cheap dvi or hdmi cables there which is more than enough....

@ScarLight
dell monitors are almost exclusively from dell.....some shops do carry dell monitors...but very limited models and stock.

ive never seen the 2 samsungs u mentioned...but if i were to go on blind faith....id go with dell for 2 reasons... 1) extra 1inch and 2) known good after sales support and warranty service.
