Yes. There is. As a matter of fact, i think i posted both my PLUS Savings Account passbook and Basic Savings Account passbook and someone (could be bingozero or someone else) posted his super rare savings passbook issued by Public Finance. I hold two savings account with Public Bank. Anyway, i'll repost it here. I'm too lazy to dig out the old post.

When i opened the Basic Savings Account a few months ago, i was asked if i want to link it to my existing Public Bank Day2Day VISA debit card. I chose not to. Besides, it's not that i have to pay for the additional MEPS ATM card since it comes free with the Basic Savings Account anyway.

yea,i read ur post at #210.
i think i should follow ur pattern, biggrin.gif .

Yes. It is totally free. You get only 8 free ATM withdrawals and 6 free over the counter transactions per month though. Anything more than that you will be charged RM1.

Depends on what type of PBB debit card you are using. They have so many types of debit card each with different rules.

Cash withdrawal at any Public Bank ATM is totally free. However, if you do the cash withdrawal at any other local, foreign or overseas banks, you'll be charged RM10 each time you do so.

I believe it works more or less the same as PBB VISA Electron. To withdraw cash, you need to select credit/debit card, then select cash advance. It's not really cash advance. It is just the way it works for a standalone debit card. Three years ago when i still had their PBB VISA Electron, their ATM did not allow me to select the amount of money i wish to withdraw. Instead, when i selected "cash advance", it automatically dispensed RM200 to me. Not sure if it works this way now.

it is free at public bank ATM only. u may refer following link,

http://www.pbebank.com/en/en_content/perso...osure_debit.pdf

regarding withdrawal, i agreed with MilesAndMore said, it is 'cash advance' , not same with normal debit cum ATM card.
the process/way just like credit card, just it not same with credit card it will be charged when user using 'cash advance' ,yes it is really 'cash advance' for credit card. but for standalone debit card, u actually withdraw your own money.

Yes. I wasn't given the option to key-in the amount desired but that was 3 years ago.

As mentioned in my previous post and by future80, no.

It applies only to standalone debit cards such as :
- PBB VISA Electron
- PBB Manchester United VISA debit
- PBB ING debit Mastercard
- PBB TARCollege debit Mastercard
- PBB UTAR debit Mastercard

PBB Day2Day VISA debit card is not a standalone debit card. It is linked to your savings account. Therefore, you can use it just like any normal ATM card.

For total deposit of more than RM3,000, you can go to the counter. As for any deposit amount lower than RM3,000, they will ask you to do the deposit at any of their cash deposit machines inside the branch unless the cash deposit machines are all out of order.

Be reminded that only certain Public Bank cash deposit machines can read your ATM/debit card/credit card, therefore it is advisable that you always have your bank account number with you as you might have to manually key-in your account numbers.

“Presently, online billings and transactions by debit cards make up only 0.3% of the bank's total credit and debit card online billings.

“We expect online billings to increase significantly with the support of the new e-commerce initiative and ongoing campaigns.”

He said Maybankard Visa debit card had about 82% market share of billing volume for debit cards in Malaysia.
