hi pesonarians here, i just recieved my black manual m-line persona this week, so far dont notice much problem just the breathing sound from the aircond, i wanna ask here, is it the immobilizer alone enough for my car security or if i need a steering and pedal lock, what brand is reliable? i've read that the h line got Captor security system, can i install on mmy m line and how much it costs?
*
No. It is best (budget wise) to add motion sensor fitted onto the dashboard wired to the stock alarm system. And buy a portable brake lock. Do not buy those stupid steering lock locking the steering wheel and the brake pedal. Those are soo easily cut (at the steering wheel) and removed.

It is something like this

Luckily its multilink.... if torsion beam... the ride quality will be different already. but then in terms of maintenance, torsion beam cost less because of the less parts and bushings.

No luck. Sigh.. shakehead.gif Right now it needs a program to turn it off.
Anyway, I managed to install PapaGO X3 on my device. It works like a charm! rclxms.gif What is the resolution of your A800? The version I'm using only supports 480 x 272.

To overcome this problem, first of all, set the backlight of your unit to 'Always ON'. Then in the setting of Garmin, goto 'Settings > Display > Backlight Override' and uncheck all the check boxes. This will prevent the program to trigger the bug. smile.gif Hope this helps!

I peeked under my car just now. It looks more like a torsion beam. Are you a non IAFM owner, if yes then can you take a photo of your suspension? I wanna compare with mine. biggrin.gif Thank you.

My air cond vent is vibrating too. doh.gif Regarding the 'tik tik' sound, it is the sound from relay if not mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong. smile.gif

Hi fren, thanks for sharing out the garmin files & installation guide.
Currently myself is using Garmin on my Nokia xpress 5800. I found that the orignal GPS from my A800 is not user friendly. Therefore I just 'jail' it in my kampung tongue.gif
Now, with your kind sharing, I hope that my A800 can work with garmin and can be released from 'jail' rclxms.gif

Btw, roiss, can you share us the Papago's files and installation guide as well wub.gif
If A800 really cannot work with Garmin, at least I can go for 2nd choice. Thanks fren, good job thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif

I used Shell HX7 semi syn. light oil....nice. make sure they dun overfill.... they love doing overfill.......and NO ur engine does not need a full 4L. its overfilled with 4L of oil
*
I sent my car to Sungai Besi Eon Service Centre. A guy told me that campro engine is full filled with 4L engine oil, he said only those old engine fill with less than 4L. Dunno he tipu me or not. vmad.gif

At 1st, still thinking to bring back the remaining engine oil, keep the stock and combine it become another 4L drool.gif

Btw, your SC allow you all to bring you own engine oil?? My SC said NO WAY.must use theirs.

sweat.gif sweat.gif ....the engine does not need 4L..la...even let 3.6/3.7 is more than enough as it will show MAX mark or even lower a bit......overfill is not a good thing as it will weaken the seals in the long run thus leaking next time.....best is 1mm below MAX or put in between of MIN & MAX is also enough as it give better FC and lighter acceleration.....just go drain it...la....go normal workshop and tell them to drain it as its overfilled....or best is change oil filter and the oil will decrease a bit......

I will share it soon. biggrin.gif But I'm not sure whether it works on A800 since the resolution is different. blush.gif

And guys, I think all the Persona IAFM in M'sia are using multilink for the rear suspension. I've checked with a mechanic. thumbup.gif

But this site, Proton Turkey states that the rear is using Torsion Beam Axle with coil springs. hmm.gif
