I met this very big guy at a church camp in PD back in 2000 and he looked very very similar to Terry Gallyot. And guess what, his name was Terry too. I'm not sure if he was Terry Gallyot though.

QUOTE(JonYeap @ Apr 14 2010, 10:51 PM) Newbies get discourages very easily if they're made fun of just like that. Keep doing that and you'll just be another zeist correct? Don't adopt the elitist mentality. Terry has the right to act elitist but he doesn't do that no?Added on April 14, 2010, 10:57 pmZeist not worth my time. I disturb him just to annoy him. I don't hate him but i do know he's a very insecure baby boy. Lol. This post has been edited by darklight79: Apr 14 2010, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(meteoraniac @ Apr 14 2010, 07:16 PM) My favorite is standing dumbell Press for compound, but that is just a personal preference. Military press and clean and press kinda useless. Did it at Terry's gym and he told me to scrap themSome other good ones are: Military Press Seated Barbell Press Clean and Press Arnold Press The difference between dumbell press and an Arnold Press is with the Arnold Press you face the dumbells back toward you at the bottom of the lift which enables you to go deeper safely, and increases the range of motion, emphasizing the front delt the most. I will do this supersetted with lateral raises with strict form (forget the amount of weight you are lifting, make sure you have the form right). Then. hit the rear delts with bent-over db laterals Finally. throw in some upright rows and front raises and you're done. Kthxbye! from my routine. |

ok la ok la. sorry sorry.
but pls... increase ur weight. and u definitely wanna feel the muscle soreness. "Those are the maximum I can do a day without getting sore muscles the next day." u would want to feel the soreness... thats when the muscle actually tear and recover. thats how ur muscle grow. i suggest u try taking 5kg do for 10-12 reps for about 3 sets each workout. Dumbell seated curl Dumbell concentration curl Hammer curl and etc... good luck. =.= |

QUOTE(ReonLim83 @ Apr 14 2010, 11:26 PM) scrap military press??? Bodybuilding = isolate the muscle as much as possible. You stand, your accessory muscles come into play which takes focus OFF your delts. Seated version is superior forits not useless!!! they are the cornerstone exercise in any serious delt workout. he probably asked u to scrap it to try a diff type of exercise to stimulate your shoulder growth. putting on delt mass. T-nation has already done EMG studies and the dumbbell shoulder press has been proven to hit the medial delts the hardest. I did military press at Terry's gym a year plus ago when on a hybrid pl/bb program. He told me there are way better exercises for shoulders than that. |
