POHD network function very poor. For more then 20Mbps it will lagging. Hope they will improve in future firmware.

the 720p and 1080p is refering to dimension size. The network capacity must be faster than the required to works.

In this case, very low bitrate 1080p can also work on streamyx. But then, no point doing so.

can i know, if the BD has 7.1 channel sound, will it be bigger in size?

this mkv format will compress the 7.1 channel sound or strike out the 7.1 channel to 5.1 channel?
if the BD has 7.1 channel sound and rip it to mkv format, when play back the mkv, will it have 7.1 channel sound?

7.1 channel is HD audio. mkv until now still unable to support. for 7.1 channels, better go for .ts format, same as bluray format m2ts.

There seem to be a price range from RM610 all the way to RM699... I was wondering all the units purchased from MYS retailers, will it be warrantied by them? Are these units all purchased from S'pore?

I did checked their website, seems they do have a authorised distributor here.

Side topic, does grainy images produced also TV or player dependant? Like some TV may have them, and some may not although the movies are from the same source?
