@llsphinxll & lemonie,
I was at a friends' place for a meeting yesterday, i had the MBP switched on for about 3 hours. I then shut it down and rebooted it this afternoon about 1230PM. It's now 634PM and i'm currently on 17%. Wifi is on, USB plugged in for Time Machine & external keyboard but brightness level is down to 0 as I'm using an external monitor. Am thinking of just calibrating the thing since it's oredi at 16% *smiles* but i definitely like the long batt lifespan |

This is what i want to know also. because the battery cant pull out. not like pc laptop. as i know from past experience, the more you charge, the faster your battery die because of the capacity. just like the rechargeable battery. the more you charge, the faster it consume it lifetime.

What is the difference between the ATA drive and SSD apple offered? 255GB SSD seems to be the most expensive drive, care to explain its advantage please? |

ginolo,
how do you maintain it ? Added on September 14, 2009, 8:28 pmIs it also by plugging in AC power suply when you are using it to prevent losing life cycle ? This post has been edited by jasperng: Sep 14 2009, 08:28 PM |

well, i dint do anything to it. Since i got a lot of works to do with my laptop, so the way i "maintain" it is everytime i bring it out for use(without charger), i will use until the battery till very drain then charge it. when i turnoff my laptop, the charger is also off. laptop on = charge on.
