Go over to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts

The list of shortcuts are there, and you can define your own keys there too

hi ppl..

i just got my macbook air SSD yesterday and it feels a bit laggy when watching video.. i was wondering if overheating is the issue.. because it is quite fast normally.. but when i watch movie i put it on top of a pillow (which traps heat)

and also.. coconut battery shows that the laptop is 6 weeks old.. but it jus arrived yesterday.. sad.gif

the date dated at the coconut battery is the date your macpy come out from the factory. it lag because not of the overheat issue but the processor and graphic card problem i suppose.

there is a default warranty deadline that ur macbook will start with, maybe a couple of months after it leaves the factory.

you can check your serial number online to find it out, and if u didn't register, apple will use that date or apple will update with a new date if you submit ur proof of purchase.

eg. i bought my mbp on earlier this sept, but when i check the warranty online, it stated that my macbook warranty ends at 31july 2010, which means it starts at 31 jul 2009.

after i register it, the warranty is adjusted/corrected to the day i register for the first time.

If i buy from online I dont need to register right ? .. it seem already registered O_o

Added on September 15, 2009, 11:18 pmit appeared that they dont provide hardcopy of the invoice. only electronic

Apple News |  Redesigned iMac and MacBook Coming Within Weeks?

Tuesday, 15th September 2009, 09:09 pm

A new research report by Wedge Partners suggests that Apple will release a redesigned iMac and MacBook within weeks.  Wedge sees a redesigned iMac with a “thinner, organic design, likely with smoothed or rounded edges." The MacBook redesign “is likely to be limited.”  The firm believes the computers will come with a "new, lower price points to drive demand and create a meaningful competitive threat" to the upcoming Windows 7 based PCs.  “We believe these new designs and price points will help Apple achieve a 3 million unit quarter for Macs in [calendar] Q4.”

Don't worry that is just speculation , I am thinking since they just recently announced iPods , they won't announce anything until feb or Jan next year.

That is when the iPad may be also announced. if there is such a thing , if you believe the rumors.

i think it effects certain batch/small amount of MBPs

i believe most MBP (mid09) have their HDD upgraded with 3rd party drives.. and no issue what soever so far, knock wood
