KVR stands for Kingston Value Ram. is there 1TB notebook HDD currently?i tot only until 500gb only rite now leh..btw, yes u can proceed changing ur hdd.no problem at all, ATM i think u can go for 4GB RAM. if you're going to keep the battery life cycle low, don't attach the battery lah. But i think just let it be. in case of power failure, u won't be losing ur file suddenly. that's more important maa...
Dewd ... dem new MBPs does not come with removable batteries ... currently on the Apple laptop series, only teh normal Macbook White have those ... I did read a lot from fellow forumers that the electricity will be cut off from the battery once the charge reaches 100%. If u continue to use AC adapter afterwards, it will be running on AC directly. Hope this helps.

Erm, what is KVR RAM ? I am planning to get 500GB or 1TB if MBP 13" support it.
How many GB RAM is supported and made use of - maximum ? I need the speed.
Guys, I on my mbp almost 24/7 wherever I go, do I put on the AC Adapter at all time ? Or which is the ideal way to maintain the survival of the batt life.
Thanks !
Maximum RAM u can go on the new MBPs is 8GB, but 4GB should be sufficient for running SL with 5 -8 apps opened simultaneously. And besides, to upgrade to a max. of 8GB of DDR3 laptop RAMs will cause a fortune since 1 X 4GB is already freakin expensive ... might want to wait for the price for that one to drop down first lah ... As for the HDD, right now the maximum size is 500GB for 2.5" version. Price is roughly around Rm270-Rm300 depending on brand. Personally I would recommend u to go for WD or Maxtor HDDs.
P/S : Apparently I was mistaken by the HDD size ... as I browsed thru Western Digital's site ... I saw that they have already released a 1TB Scorpio Blue HDD 2.5" version (which I highly doubt its going to be anything but cheap). Read more here :
