that's rather bad i think, if i were you i'd bring it to one of the apple resellers to have them take a look at it, so far my 13" macbook pro has not given me any problems, there only has been one instance where i tried updating in the "software update" and the program didn't respond, and later when i tried to shut down, the computer hanged.. and i had no other choice than to hold on the on/off button.. but after that everything was fine, i resumed with the "software update" and no other problem..

you have to purchase the ACPP while your unit is still under the 1 year warranty.. since you mentioned you purchased your macbook two years back, so unfortunately it is too late..

the ACPP extends your warranty for another 2 years, meaning you get 3 years in total..

yes you should.. provided you're sure its not your earphone thats the problem.. your iPod should not have that kind of issue..

hmmm.. i recently thought of reformating my mac to clean out everything to get a brand new feel.. but i cant seem to find anything much about it on the net, why is that so? is there like another solution rather than re-installing the OS?

hmm is it that popular or what is the reason for it being out of stock? i thought the 2.26ghz is the one which most customers are likely to choose..

it pretty much depends on the applications which are running, the power settings, etc..

apple claims that the 15" MBP can last up to 7 hours..

why worry about them not swapping it for you? whatever it is, the problem didnt derive from you, the unit is faulty, simply bring back to them and tell them bout the problem, your unit is covered under apple warranty anyway..

er nope actually it didnt, it just arranged that particular folder i was looking at..

for me i recommend getting the screen protector, i got the matte surface one so it helps reduce the glare and glossy-ness too.. i would also recommend getting a trackpad protector so the trackpad wouldn't get stained..

i got mine during the discovery week recently in mid valley.. i think it was around RM70.. you can get it in machines..

well for me i didnt feel the keyboard protector was so important as the keypads itself are black in color (for the aluminim MBP), so i dont think they will be stained easily, plus i clean my MBP everyday.. the keyboard protector will make the keypads feel different when using, so i didn't really like it..

the "delete" button works as a backspace by default.. to delete forward, click fn + delete..

insert the leopard dvd and perform an erase and install..
