About the power adapter problem, if it doesn't charge sometimes due to the cues problem, you home unstable current cost that. Change the fuse yourself, it's rm0.50

From my experience, it Ur room or Ur house "Wayar Bumi" aka Green Cable not connected correctly to earth...

Last time got this shock problem, call the TNB, they only responsible beyond the meter. after the meter, it owner responsible.
so i call outside tech to check, why my pc feel "SHOCK", then found out, The Green Cable not touching or bury correctly in the ground.

Solution, put the green cable correctly and bury it.. look at outside ur house the red/"simen" box...

Hope this hint will help u guys..

Just a quick question, I have a 15" Aluminium Macbook Pro (2008 version) with NVidia 9600 GT. I've noticed when I play graphic intensive games like HAWX or Lost Remnant (on Windows of course) my Macbook becomes very very hot. I suppose as it is aluminium, heat dissipates fast that's why it's hot on the outside. But my concerns comes with graphic card burning out (or even components melting!) during an intensive gaming workout. Has anybody faced any problems so far? I'm worried about coming soon games like Assassins Creed 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. But right now I can play most games on full (although Sims 3 lag when zooming out dunno why tongue.gif). Other than that, I'm actually impressed with the Macbook Pro performance, it's like between mid and high class gaming laptop. Beats my home PC by miles smile.gif .
*
because the whole thin is aluminum, heat expose to everywhere, alu is heat conductor
unlikey other laptop build from plastic, you wont feel the heat cuz plastic is not good heat conductor

maybe you get external keyboard while play games

it happen the same in my mac (perhaps same maybe), get a cooler pad

I have a 1TB external currently in use for video capture
So the CPU and GC(is this even involved much? lol) and RAM (lets say i stick to 2gb or up it to 4gb)
is sufficient?
i read somewhere that it wont be good because of the GC
or maybe that was for motion, i'm not entirely sure
*
what kind external hdd you using? what interface? USB?
no good
at least firewire 800, best esata

i'm planing for RAID 5 system for my brother production.

he uses final cut studio
his currently machine is Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz (oct 08 model), 2GB ram.

cuz the dirt will stick to your screen

your keyboard is already black color, you dont need any protector to prevent it turns into any darker color

if you're designer, serious about your job, Eizo LCD is way to go
else get 15" MBP without the front reflector glass, the color will be very nice then

Hmm...matte display?

I am wondering, will it affects the quality of the image? Better? Same?

Check this out:

Yes, get Matte display if your living area/working place has some lights that are wrongly placed. It will create quite an annoyance when the glossy screen reflects even the tiniest light.

Still, if you have a room with correctly placed lights and ambient lighting. No problem.

Added on August 13, 2009, 12:46 pmToo bad they are now charging extra for the Matte. When I bought mine, it came with no extra charge.
*
actually it's still not matte screen, dont take it wrongly
it's just remove the glare layer
