3) I don't know what a charging cradle is but I am usually on power supply.  Something to note is that U should calibrate your battery once a month.  I've uhm.... killed 2 batts and this current one is dying; damn.. I need to learn how to take care of my batts more sad.gif

@Superman7,
I'm currently using the 1st Gen MBP. A couple of months after I made the purchase I found I had some batt issues so I sent it back to get a new one claimed; nothing happened and when my batt starting acting weird I'd oredi surpassed the 12 month warranty but since I'd made a complain previously + had AppleCare, Apple decided to replace the batt. That was probably about a year ago.

Now, my batt is facing some issues problem again; this is what iStatPro has to say about my battery health *siGh*

Based on total cycles, my battery health shouldn't be 28%. But ah well.. since I'm giving up this MBP soon I don't really care. Instead, I'm now backing up me stuff and prepping to make my purchase on the new MBP; though I don't quite like the black borders sad.gif

I don't know if it's vibration or what, but I think I know what you mean.

When the power cable is on and I touch the aluminum surface, it doesn't feel smooth. Can feel the "vibration"

But when I unplug the power cable and touch the surface, it feels smooth...

The feel when touching the aluminum surface is different when the power cable is plugged in or unplug..

It's the current/electricity that made your finger feel that way.
This happens when the powerpoint/extension that you plugged in, has not been earthed well.

Use 3-pins. If after using 3-pins, you can still feel it. Check your extension/powerpoint. Likely it has problem earthing the electricity.
External harddisk which is powered by another power plug, can send current through your finger, because the powerpoint that you plug your mb/mbp's power brick in, got problem.

@rheza02,
If indeed a part is needed to be ordered in, the Shop can only give you an estimated time frame. Alternatively, do it when you're back from overseas or if you're going overseas for good; get it changed there biggrin.gif

depends on ur lcd. there's a max allowed by Apple, u can refer to the product details page in their web site. i think quite large la, definitely more than 1900 range. and most lcd only hv up to 1900 anyway

Its not limited by Apple , but limited by your graphics card power and the amount of VRAM

no need. that's the nice thing about virtual machines, u dont need to mess around with partitions and formatting and stuff. virtual machines kinda boots another OS on top of a 'fake' (hence the name virtual) system.

it will create a file that contains the whole OS, as if its another computer. if one day u want to remove it, juz delete the file. no hard disk erase or anything. very simple to use, n a great way to 'experiment' with other OS

other alternatives include Parallels Desktop and Sun VirtualBox (free). in my opinion, parallels is the best smile.gif well worth the money

Yup Dude Bingo! thats y im trying to explained.. smile.gif
i think this is cause by power adapter that charged the MBP although I have switch off my machines.

If i unplug the power adapter the slight "vibration" will stop....even my external hdd under firewire...

Grounding issue is not a problem at all. Coz i dont feel any static shock at all...im using Belkin Surge Master biggrin.gif

P/S: Do u guys unplug the power adapter after u switch off the laptop?
