since i got the splint in KOTR, every now and then there is a pulling effect on my shin.

Did some 5-7k runs few times after i recovered. no pain. But still feel not 100% and been almost a month now.

Even when walking or sitting down will feel my shin is tight and uncomfortable compared to right leg.

is it normal that it takes so long to recover?

Hi Marvinct,

How are you now? It has been 1 month ago from our last run. I think you better pay a visit to specialist doc to seek their advice. Did u take any medication to recover?

Finally I hit the road, 2 days short of two months after my motorbike accident, Op-Day+29. It felt good. I did about 30 mins of very light & slow jog, with occasional accelarations, just to see how I feel. I went out about 6.30, about an hour after sahur. My left biceps & triceps have shrunk considerably since my accident so I felt sore on tht part. I also wore a brace to protect my wrist & the broken arm. I still haven't gained full range of motion on my left wrist, I just got the k-wire out on Thursday. I'll start my physio session on 10/9.

Well, it felt good to be back on the road again. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

tenno: Glad to know that you are recovering well. But do remember not to push it over your limits. Do stop when you feel something isn't right. No point being a hero. Besides, it's puasa month, probably it's a hint for you to rest longer. smile.gif

Thx 4 the advice. Of course I'll be careful not to exceed my limits. I dun wanna get back to tht hospital again. Even when doing physio for my arm I've been very careful not to push too much, I dun wanna cause further damage to my arm & wrist.
