things here hv been rather slow

anyway, any of u ppl ever tried running barefoot?
I did it for 9km end result; lotsa and lotsa blisters and i hv difficulty walking but hmm.. during the run it was somewhat therapeutic

I miss me LSDs(there goes me comback training plan)but am defnitely considering a 15km run tomorrow...

Hah, ur GT2120 at RM279 even after discount thats expensive for a shoe mfg in 2007. I got mine during the last sale at ard RM230 (50% off RM459). Are u sure its a 2120 and not a 2130. At RM280 u can almost buy a top end 2008/2009 season shoe.

Tried running barefoot before. But as you said, it is therapeutic. Just watch out for those sharp objects that could seriously damage your feet.

Damaged edi bloodied blisters, but conditions definitely improving..

Anybody here use Adidas shoes ? Studio R 1Utama was having this sale, most of Adizero shoes were going at 30% less. Supernova series was going for 40%, some for 50%.

What event? Just casual run?

1st thing to check is the manufacturing date.

my fren told me mizuno got 50% discount, but the mfg date of the show is second half of 2007.

The oldest Adizero model was released December 2008, the Adizero Adios. The rest is quite recent, current year models. The Adizero Pro was released June 2009, it was at 30%, normal price RM419.90. I checked from Adidas website. How do I check on the shoe itself the mfg date ?

He virtually stopped running after 70m, then had the time to chit-chat with the guy nxt to him all the way to the finish line ! I just hope we won't see him getting charged with doping anytime soon, his time was just out of this world.

if the shoe are store in proper condition in warehouse then a 2yr old shoe shud still be OK. and generally Mizuno will throw it at 50% discount. anything more than 2yrs will be taking a chance bcos the shoe will generally get harden and the glue will give way.

look at the shoe tongue, it shud be underneath the sizing box. take note of numbers like eg FCL 0806 (mfg in Aug 2006) - MIZUNO, F360307 (Mfg in Mar 2007) - ASICS, and CH212 02/08 (mfg in Feb 2008) - Saucony, etc
