Borneo International Marathon 2010 (at KK) will be on 2nd May 2010!
Registration will start on 1st Feb 10. It's nice race to join, and KK is nice place to visit.

YES, there was a runner whom passed away. when he passed the 15km mark (6th drinking station) he just collapsed, ambulance responded to him but then they decided that he needed a doctor to attend to him. therefore he was rushed to the sick bay at venue. The doctor incharge did immediate CPR but the runner did not respond to any treatment. he was then immediately sent to hospital putrajaya.

His family members have been contacted. the funeral is today at Kota Tinggi (johor).

I might run the Bareno 10K ... to prepare for Energizer.... 

The programme, endorsed by the Ministry of Education, began on Jan 1 and culminates on March 7 in a 4.5km walk at 8am at Dataran Merdeka. About 5,000 people are expected to participate in the walk.

There's such thing as FTAAA membership? 

No offence chinleong, but I think you'd have a better chance if u lower the price a little bit. Because occasionally, in certain road races here in KL, polar opens up booths and they offer discounts. 10-20% discounts.
Which translates to ~RM200 on ur model right there. I remember because the promoter wanted to push a model that has gps to me for 20% if i'm not mistaken but i didn't have money.

Otherwise, yeah ebay should be the best place...good luck.

klcc park about 1.3km...nice track. synthetic rubber..usually crowded in the evening.

ah.. no wonder I saw him there with some groupies.. hehehe. I usu run there on Sun evenings but some weekdays, I am there.

eh? 6pm wor! I'm there usu 630-7pm depending on schd etc but last few Sun, didn't show face coz it rained.. and always around 6pm!!! Grrrrr..... but if there's no rain, yeah I shud be there 630ish.
