Paid by Cheque.

Credit cards allowed for 2 - 3 banks only (HSBC, Maybank and 1 more if not mistaken).

You have to go to Maxis Centre, MEP or APR to get your iPhone registration / booking done. Online sudah tiada. smile.gif

So the story start like this, when i got my 3gs on the last day of July, i realize that the phone has cracks on it, so immediately i request for a replacement. But the staff in maxis center said that currently there is none available stock, therefore he suggested me to keep the phone 1st, and come back on the 21 of august to complete the so called RMA form.

Today i went to the maxis center to complete the RMA, and i have repeated asking him whether i will get a new phone for the replacement, since most of the replacement phones are refurbish. The answer i get is the replacement phone will always be a new one. Of coarse i don't really believe it.

So the question is how do i differentiate whether the phone is refurbish or new one?

The crack was small hairline cracks which distributed near the headphone jack and also around the speaker

Are you sure? 2 maxis representatives told me that i could just do a walk-in purchase anytime in September, as long as there's stock.

More often than not, a refurbished set will be given in replacement. Having said that however, since 3GS has only hit the market recently, Apple may not have too many of these refurbished yet or if they have any at all. Therefore, there is every liklelihood you will get a new unit. But for sure later, refurbished sets will be given out.
