On your second point, you would have to put forth your case very strongly, demand and do not relent. In that manner, you just might get a new set. IMO, your main argument would be the cracks were discovered immediately upon opening the box in the presence of their staff. But were told to use it first. Good luck to you, mate.

rebate is for your last i3g reg number.
since u buy i3gs with another number, maxis will not know it.

Yes it is still possible to purchase the i3GS on a prepaid plan except stocks are low hence Maxis has temporarily suspended that.

Should be; once those who pre ordered gets their i3GS and when stock levels are up again I'm sure Maxis will start allowing 'outright' purchases through the prepaid method.

Maxis Centre number are for internal use only ... you need to get the centre manager's handphone number (something i did the last time, now he's a friend). So yeah ... you need to go get it

great news!! mine Booked: 8th August, but not at Gardens. at Orange in Ampang Point. hopefully got stock as well and can collect mine next week.

Booked and paid my i3gs on 4th Aug but due to system error, maxis did manual booking and only registered my booking on 8th Aug

Was in gardens today and dropped by maxis center to ask. According to CS, they don't have stock now and asked me to wait for their call end of this month. This coming week is already last week of the month lol. Well, just hope they will call next week haha.

Bro, u book at the gardens road show? what do you mean by manual booking? i book at 4th august as well and paid my deposit at the road show there, they print a receipt to me for the deposit, then it means that i successfully booked mine? really confused with maxis system currently

Yup, I booked at the gardens road show .. same date as you. They couldn't registered my booking in the system, hence they issue a hand written receipt to me for the deposit. If yours is printed receipt, I believe your booking was successful .. so don't worry.
