Gut-loading them is a smelly business. Every few weeks, I need to scoop 'em all out into a strainers to remove the frass and fine oats.
Sometimes, the apple starts getting mouldy after 3 days, thus I need to remove the oats around the apple as well.

I'd be as happy as a bee if my hedgies don't eat mealworms.

myeah, i'm kinda glad that she doesn't eat random bugs since i plan to take her out in the garden and let her do whatever soon
but on the other hand, i'm skeptical that she'd do anything much during daytime, especially when i'm "playing" with her. since it'll almost certainly end up like this - ![]() and me ending up with a numb arm. anything higher than a hogster scale of 7 in terms of movement and this'll happen - ![]() and those eyes would be like O_O O_O sniff sniff sniff* rustle rustle rustle* and back to this - ![]() |

Huffster & Chubster prefers to run off to hide whenever I bring 'em out. They don't like sleeping on my lap. xD |

I'm starting to question if Chubster really is pregnant.
If she isn't, she's going to have to lose that weight FAST. Ehehehe, I quickly put my hedgies down when I see the tail comes up! |

LOL, wow. You buy 1kg?
I buy 400g only. It's more economical if you buy the larger packagings but I prefer fresher kibble. If you live around Bukit Tinggi Klang area, go buy RC36 at Ramsden. It's the cheapest compared to the other two pet shop in Bukit Tinggi. Anyone know petshops that give samples? I read somewhere in the past Hedgehog Corner versions that feeding hedgies 100% good quality food is bad for them. I've been thinking of mixing some of Huffy's old 'Bark!' kibble into the RC36. Doubt he'll eat it but it's worth a try. xD This post has been edited by TeliLeti: Jul 30 2011, 01:29 AM |

Just noticed RC32.. or was it 34 more cheaper than RC36... by 4 ringgit lol. Went to pet wonderland yesterday , saw so many hoglets!!
They damn bad wei.. the hoglets looks like newborn, no fur pink skin and they put for display there. And they dun put the mom together also I was eating at some udon shop and the vet who knows me ask me to drop by his clinic. He gave me a biggg hamster cage . Wanted to use it to breed hamsters but my dad say let hibari use it so she can exercise more. Well she does love it now |
