Yeap I counted it.. I tried kiwi, cooked egg, cooked carrot and some vegetables.. None work..
It's just 2 months old.. Is it okay to feed those stuff? Scare later no interest on kibbles at all.. I'll be doomed if that happen.. xD |

Swimming is good. Not drinking is bad.
Too stupid to lick the thing. Too smart to go wet himself. I must top up the bowl with water every hour. |

QUOTE(TeliLeti @ Aug 7 2011, 02:37 PM) That's the downside of using a water bowl instead of bottle. Yeap. Mine will bite the steel too. Maybe the flow isn't good enough for him or maybe they don't like licking. I don't use wood shavings at all but since my female hedgehog has just give birth, I placed her in wood shavings for her to nest. She'll topple over the water bowl & food bowl (All that wasted food I suggest you stop using wood shavings. Use fleece instead. I'm using just a plastic sheet as flooring. Here's my male hedgie's cage set up if you want to get some ideas: I bought a water bottle recently for my female hedgehog. SHe never uses it because she doesn't know how to. So I gave it to my male hedgehog. He started biting the stainless steel spout. That water bottle is just a wasted investment now. Water bottles aren't good anyways. It could break the hedgie's tooth. Can you make a wheel for me? I'll pay you. Oh wait, you live in JB, don't you? Lol. Tried without wood shavings. My hedgie go wet himself with own urine. Then poo over his body. There's once I wipe all his poo with tissue and then put aside. Wanna litter train him. He go use it as bed. |
