QUOTE(TeliLeti @ Aug 4 2011, 01:11 PM) He sounds like a normal hedgehog to me. owh...thanks for ur tips... He's just defensive around you because he doesn't know you yet. My male hedgehog is still very defensive even though I bought him back in May. However, he uncurls a lot faster than he used to now. Just pick him up even though he's all curled up. After some time, he will uncurl faster. |

QUOTE(TeliLeti @ Aug 9 2011, 03:09 PM) They get dry skin once in a while so you did the right thing by bathing them. However, I recommend that you drop a few drops of oil into his bath water. dont think gonna bath him again... Or you can give him an oatmeal bath. If you don't want to bath him again, just drop a two drops of oil (anything except tea tree oil) on his back and one drop behind his ears. His dry skin will be gone by tomorrow. Works like a charm everytime. he stil hissing at me...mayb dont know me yet... |

QUOTE(TeliLeti @ Aug 9 2011, 04:44 PM) Yup. You can drop a bit of oil on his food too. owh...can drop on food too... I just noticed Huffster scratching like crazy. I dropped some Evening Primrose Oil on his back & food. I was clipping Huffster's nails earlier & accidentally clipped a small part of his quick. I didn't notice it until I was putting drops of oil on his foot & I saw that he kept licking his injured nail. Poor boy. I put a bit of corn starch on it & he ignored his foot after that. Now he stopped scratching & went back to sleep already. Takes a while for them to get used to you. thanks...will try it after opis hour...
