Or you could try other english sites which have similar products as the one you mentioned. HK sites or Amazon might be another option if you know how to search

QUOTE(dfcloud @ Dec 20 2009, 09:40 PM) got 3 kitten, i dont think the mother is using them. there are 2 types of clay sand... how many weeks before i need to change the sand to a new one? im also using the clay type me thinks, but the cheap one 1. the clump - when they pee the sand turn to be hard. 2. non clumping - when they pee, the color change but not clump/hard. type 1 (the clump) u don't really have to change it... since it is clump, u just scoop the poo and the pee which is hard... then refill some.. type 2(non clump) - this is madness.. very hard to clean since the pee will mix with the clean clay.. so u need to throw most or everything and change a new one. u do not have to pour the whole bag into the litter box.. for 3 kittens, 5cm height of clay should be enough.. so when u scoop and clean maybe decrease abit, then add abit again. if you concern about the smell, so you need to clean more times a day. if you have high litter box and you using CLUMP clay ... u can pour 2/4 of the bag.. which is good too.. but if the kitten is in cage, be aware that they will play with the clay This post has been edited by elfreakz: Dec 21 2009, 08:48 PM |

Halo and Marry Xmas for those who's celebrating!
i wanna know about frontline spray.this is my first experience. my cat just started the fleas in about these two months or less. she had a quite excessive fleas before, and got spot on combo around april-jun/july this year. so last week i just went to the pet shop to get the fronline spray, since she had just a mile fleas (even if i bring her to the vet they wouldn't do much.) the worker (that had experience using it) told me if want to jimat but still effective, just use on the 8 spots that the cat can't reach/lick. i did (although im not sure where's the 8 spots are, hehe),but this week i notice she still keep on scratching but not so crazy like before. so can i spray it again?since it was a little spray on each spot, maybe can i spray every week or two???and i dunno how to use the 'Approximately 1 or 2 pumps per pound of animal's body weight' concept. btw,i've noticed after the spot on and the spray she'll be like she has been sedated, stay still and sleepy.why? |

QUOTE(Mimzy @ Dec 26 2009, 01:39 AM) Halo and Marry Xmas for those who's celebrating! If your cat in staying both in and out door.. your war with the fleas will never end.i wanna know about frontline spray.this is my first experience. my cat just started the fleas in about these two months or less. she had a quite excessive fleas before, and got spot on combo around april-jun/july this year. so last week i just went to the pet shop to get the fronline spray, since she had just a mile fleas (even if i bring her to the vet they wouldn't do much.) the worker (that had experience using it) told me if want to jimat but still effective, just use on the 8 spots that the cat can't reach/lick. i did (although im not sure where's the 8 spots are, hehe),but this week i notice she still keep on scratching but not so crazy like before. so can i spray it again?since it was a little spray on each spot, maybe can i spray every week or two???and i dunno how to use the 'Approximately 1 or 2 pumps per pound of animal's body weight' concept. btw,i've noticed after the spot on and the spray she'll be like she has been sedated, stay still and sleepy.why? If you have indoor cat all the time... please clean your house especially the carpet with vacuum or maybe wash it. fleas from cat can also lay eggs on things like that and later jump back to your cat. they are pretty smart... personally, if you are fighting for fleas since april/jun/july, and until december the fleas still there.. you need to ring the red alert bell... i can see the fleas is making your home n cat "a home sweet home" eheheh.... SPRAY is the fastest way to kill the fight on the spot. When you are working with SPRAY fronline... do it somewhere empty, the place that has no carpet... maybe like dry bathroom... Why? ofcourse like i said just now, fleas are smart, they can smell poison, they will jump and run away. if u r doing this job on your beautiful home, they will hide on your carpet and even sofa, save their life. So, do it on empty floor... spraying frontline is easy, but all cats hate it... they hate the spray sound... they hate the wet stuff... they even hate the smell of it... i always advice to spray start from around neck.. spray the neck in circle... since you CANNOT spray the face.. what you can do is... spray it on your hand, and wipe it under the chin and above head. NOT FACE!... then spray abit on your hand and wipe it around the "cuping teling" and near the ears (the place that always look botak near the ears).. then only you spay the whole body... as long as all place wet & sticky mean you are done... you need 2 person to do this spraying job. one holding and one spraying. PLEASE NOTE, TO TRIM THE CAT NAILS FIRST... YOU MIGHT NOT WANT THE CAT SCRATH YOU after spray, massage the cat body, so the frontline soak into the fur (especially long hair) and skin... long hair need more frontline than short hair. you can bath your cat with medicated fleas shampoo after 48 hours. I prefer to cage my cat after spraying the frontline... cats hate frontline... he will be mad, angry and hate everything thats why he's sleeping and moody... you even see the saliva come out, thats the reaction from frontline when the cat lick it.... That is now cat protect themself from poison stuff... the saliva will drop out with the poison in the body... don't worry. as long as you don't spray the face... and did not finish 1 bottle for cat then its ok Spot on is for protection... after bath.. you can put it at the back of the neck... always check your cat to see if there's fleas or not... if there's small number of fleas, frequent bath your cat. dont worry about the spot on at the back of the neck... cos within 24 hours, that liquid will get into the skin... If you have 2 or more cats in the house, YOU NEED TO DO THE FRONTLINE JOB TO ALL OF THEM IN ONE TIME... do not do one by one... cos it wont work... you do it on cat A... then later cat A meet and play with Cat B... Cat A will still get fleas from Cat B... so better do all in one time, although u say other cat has no fleas.. you will never know good luck! |

kittens usually prefer wet over dry when they are young.
Good luck in trying to introduce new food types to your cat. Once in a while i give my cat raw or cooked chicken breast (includes fat and skin) to make it fat if i find that it is getting skinny. Out of curiosity, what dry food did you bought for you kitten and what age is your kitten now. This post has been edited by mecharojak: Dec 31 2009, 04:23 PM |
