guys, how long do you use the litter sand?

got 3 kitten, i dont think the mother is using them.
how many weeks before i need to change the sand to a new one?
im also using the clay type me thinks, but the cheap one

mine is the clumping. and whenever i scoop out the poo
i just break apart the hard one and mix it with the part that is dry.
gotta buy them a new one tomorrow.

yeah they do play with the sand and it will be all over the place.
at first, one of them even try to eat the sand

but my gloomy is sick, vomit here and there. food poisoning maybe.
tomorrow morning gonna bring her to the vet

i think so. sister wake me up and tell me that the kitty died.
