sound like something wrong around that leg.. could be human attack, accident, fall down, etc.. if u see any wound it could be other animal attack like dogs and even other stray cat.

sorry to hear bout your cat. i hope you can bring to vet tomorrow a.s.a.p because im afraid he/she will go into dehydration mode since you mention did not eat and drink...

p/s i do hope u keep any type of wet food that help at least attract his/her appetite..

actually you can call SEGAR VETS, cos they have 24 hours emergency cases.. but the location is taman segar cheras. they do go to your house, but will have extra charges depends on location.

Actually my ideal kitty weight is around 7-8kg nod.gif I want him to build up his weight with muscles rather than fat tongue.gif Since he's active so won't be a problem i guess. Did see a pet tv show last week about a Norwegian cat with 12kgs of weight !! His owners are trying hard to loose his weight. Now he's 10kg and will continue to do his exercise thumbup.gif

Felix is still around 3.5kgs. Vet didn't say he's skinny, only I'm concerned about his appetite these days. Regarding the supplement, I don't know the name but it's from the same company which I got my hairball meds. Company name is Vetoquinol Prolab with a lion head logo.

(update: Can't remember the exact image but came out 2 names after searching google, 1 is Felovite II and the other one Nutri-Cal)

Bingo.. the supplement you talking about is Hi-Vite Drops (Vitamin supplement with liver and iron - fortified with antioxidants)

right? orange box with lion logo on it...

try that once on my cat that has bad appetite.. like super skinny, and yes it helps.

--

how bad is your cat appetite anyway? since you feeding orijen, you need to remember that orijen is 100% meat... you cann expect your cat to eat the same amount of royal canin with the orijen... they eat less Super premium cat food like orijen... more on premium... so alot with low food.

orijen 100% meat, they easily feel full with small amount.. since it is high fat and protein. eating less doesnt mean no appetite and not eating.. they eat less but gain lots of nutrition.

with orijen, normally you can see differences after 3-4 month feeding it.. seriously i do comparison between my cat eating orijen and iams.. yes.. orijen give alot of different more than the one eating iams.

3.5kg is a standard body size.. depends on the body length. you can see the body structure if your cat is short hair.. i have a short hair male cat weight 4kg - very long body length... when i neuter him.. and now he's 6-7kg but still with the same look.. which im happy smile.gif look tough and like a real fighter smile.gif

so your cat i think your cat length and weight looks nice.. vet also say not skinny. potentially your cat will grow like the one i tell u above..

@pumpkin
I've never seen that before in any petshop yet.
haha. I assume the cat enters through the hole. The compartment with net is where the kitty will sit and do her business and the bottom of the net is connected to the empty compartment where all the sand / crystals will be.
.___.
but i think not all cat will use it. Since it's closed--- the litter box may have strong odor inside. And not all cats like to be in closed space like that.
the space abit small also ah .____. (my fat adult cat can't even enter.)
But I think it's quite a clean litterbox and may be easier to clean too.
Maybe you can order from Jpn or wait till it get released here. Thank you for showing biggrin.gif Very interesting... new stuff for me.

@elfreakz: oh yeah. Haha. Do you prefer clumping litter or the crystal silica? been switching alot because of my mother dry.gif

since i have many cats so the cheapest is clay type. there's a shop selling 25kg for RM60. so it like :

rm2.4 = 1kg
rm12 = 5kg / 5L
rm24 = 10kg / 10L

the brand is kitty cat.. last time they selling it in a blue box type...

---

last time i used cystal.. i dont really like it.. its expensive stuff if u have multi cat in the house...

i also try OKO Plus.. not bad but expensive aswell.

laugh.gif there is another hole at the back which acts as the entrance from the left compartment to the right compartment.
Attached Image
the compartment without the net is the place the kitties do their business. in order to come out from the litter box, they have to go thru the net compartment. so the cat litters which stuck at the paws will fall from their paws.

my kitties always bring the cat litters out from the litter box and makes me sweat.gif . LOL!

Thanks el smile.gif Felix's appetite is back slowly. While he's having his furball period, he needed to take 1 full day just to finish his morning meal. That's why I was afraid that the incident will make him eat less than usual after recover.

I feed him less than what I used to during his Iams period and he usually can finish it so I assume that's his portion. Nowadays we play 'kung fu' when we got a chance tongue.gif It's his favorite game and he can exercise, only I'll get scratches/bites. Hope he'll grow to a husky kitty that dogs also afraid smile.gif

---------------------------------

About the litter box, if the box is huge enough then it's nice but somehow I feel it'll waste quite a space @@a. Btw, there aren't many JP online store willing to do International delivery because it's a hassle to deal with.

I think there's something called litter mat that you can put outside the litter box. Look like some normal plastic mat or something.
Haha, would be a waste if your babies refuse to enter. sweat.gif Jotaro is right. hahah--- since they do not provide english translation I guess they don't really deliver their goods too far away.
I read somewhere bigger litterbox is more inviting for cats to use them. Not so sure. Hahah but my litter box is huge due to my super huge cat. His doesn't seem to stop growing unsure.gif
