I want to complain Malaysia Airlines regarding my damaged luggage at Labuan Airport

Damage was caused to my luggage which occurred on my recent flight with Malaysia Airlines on 15 Jun 2013 from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 to Labuan Airport in Malaysia.

Upon arrival at my destination, I discovered that was a Big Dent at the top right corner of the my luggage. I am extremely disappointed at how my luggage was mishandled by MAS staff and damaged as a result.

Emailed all the supporting documents (photos and flights details) to report to MAS Mishandled Baggage and cc GHM, enrich and enrichweb just 5 hours after the arrival time, BUT the in-charge replied with NO help at all. Asked me to go personally to the airport again to report this case.

What kind of service is this?

No help and just push responsibility.

You need to have 4 meals ? People consider the airlines due to timing and cost but never meals.
A lot of airlines fly direct for long haul like MAS with just 2 meals and thousands of people are OK and happy with just 2 meals.

Last time I took a business class for London-KL trip. Was offered 2 meals..

then I saw youtube clip where half the distance, they were served 2 meals. So I thought to myself, if I took Emirates, I could get 4 meals, and relax in the business lounge in Dubai airport. Isn't that better?

I'm not in a rush so I don't mind stopover to stretch my legs, especially when you can access the business lounge.

Now I understand why they don't serve more in this long distance direct flight, to reduce the number of times ppl go to toilet!!

How many free checked baggages are you entitled for the flight from KUL to LHR (London)?

I am actually going to the US. I found a trip on Orbitz (KUL to LHR, operated by MAS; LHR to US, operated by American Airlines). I was wondering how many free checked baggages can I bring.

So basically I am looking at this ticket.

- How many free baggages am I entitled to when I leave at PEN airport? MAS airline websites says 2 free baggage if final destination is north/south america. My final destination is in US but I am only taking MAS to London.

- I am worried that if I bring 2 check in baggage, MAS will fine me for an extra baggage, and when I switch to American airline at London airport, I will be fined again.

I had the same experience before but i cant do anything about it too. sometimes its not because of them handling, the luggage might be damage when it was in the airplane on flight

you need to be an Enrich member but it is individual based. Even if you are paying for others you will only be entitled to redeem miles with ticket under your name only.

Are you given one ticket or two tickets? I'm quite sure you'll be given one ticket because it's bought as one itinerary so you can only have 2 bags checked all the way to Chicago.
