I just call them up tell what you said earlier but their call centre said no such thing for MBB hence they cant provide that facilities to me.

Actually hotel payment itself over my limit. So I guess the solution is to swipe 2 card when paying, is it right? Do they accept for swiping 2 cards to pay one bill?

Added on March 23, 2009, 5:50 pm
Why the call centre answer different from your experience? Should I call them up again perhaps other people who know more about this?

For MBB, surely have temp increase
you can fill in this form and fax to them http://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank_docs/p...s/inc_limit.pdf

And yes, most hotels can split the bill to two cards

damn citibank rejected application...no reason given...no bad debts and over the salary requirements....wtf but BEWARE of roadside credit card salesmans...i checked my application status on phone i found out i applied for 2 times in 2009 and 1 more dated back in October BUT I DID NOT APPLIED ANY CITIBANK CARD IN OCTOBER 2008 AND PREVIOUS 2009. Must be those salesmans they will keep ur documents & details if u got rejected previously. They will sneakingly RESUBMITTING your application to hit their sales target. That is why someone here mentioned before applied a card long time ago did not approved then suddenly received a card from them. It is the salesman keep on resubmitting on your behalf without u knowing. It will tarnish the record or give a bad impression of too many times appllying card omgggg

Why don't you make a written formal complaint to the bank ? Make sure it is written and not just call in to CS. And before that make a police report as well if you think you have a genuine case. That will make sure Citibank pay attention to you.

I got hit by Citibank's agents fraudly applying cards which I don't want before. I made sure they heard my complaints and the head of credit card sales called me to apologise. Your case is even stronger (if you think you have a case) and I'm sure they will notice it - hey complain to the press as well ! hmm.gif

i can confirm with you that MBB can temporary increase limit by time frame. You need to tell them that you're going aboard and wish to have extra limit for unforeseen expenses. By right the CS will ask you when you are going and coming back. Double check with the CS.

Actually, the best answer to your question is not even in this thread. It is in the debit card thread.

I'm confident on my advice bro. That's why most seniors here refrain from giving out the recommendations on "best" card here and there coz then people ask us back sure or not. It is annoying coz we speak from our experiences in most cases (or good cases) and not just heresay from some unreliable sources.

Now a little regret giving out advice coz ppl maybe other ppl think they know better. Next time I won't be so nice whenever someone ask "best card" question in this forum.

Yeah...Last night I try to call them again. For this time, the call centre personnel there seem to have more experience though. Not much she ask me about that. Its easy though. I'm giving them date and amount that I want but she said must be maximum of 3x normal credit limit. Will confirm back with MBB when 2 days before depart. Thanks ya bro.

Hi leyley,
It's subject to approval.
But as I know they hardly approve another CL increase within 6 month period.
No harm try to request from them anyway.
Wish u good luck.

Yes, most (if not all) do allow swipe multiple cards for a bill. Normally 2 cards should have sufficient CL. However, ensure the cards are not combined CL.

Affin bank cc is offering 0% interest on balance transfer for 12 months. No other conditions attached. Anyone can confirm this?

also they are offering 9.99% interest on outstanding balance with prompt minimum payment monthly.

I saw it on their online application form.

@leyley,
Shouldn't be a problem for MBB to give you another increment assuming your credit record with them is still good. I asked for an increment to make a big purchase in the month of December and a week after that I asked for another increment. They gave me a total of additional RM20k for the month smile.gif

@tgeoklin,
Er.. bias and preferential treatment?! Er.. I never got an increase CL from Citibank despite having been their loyal customer until about 10 months ago tongue.gif

I guess it also helps that I been paying my bills regularly and that it was for the Amex Platinum CC smile.gif
