classic card can go up to 300k CL provided you are qualified for it. My friend classic card has 60k limit. Bank offer upgrade , but he want to retain the classic so only his CL is increasing thru the years.

You may try to request for the Gold Charge Card from Maybank but decision will be on them .
Amex CHARGE CARD account will not shown on your Maybank2u list because it was separated from credit card. Maybank2u will only show your banking and CREDIT CARD account, CHARGE CARD you will have to register it at www.americanexpress.com.my. You may directly register it online.

just go on further to collect the cimb world master , mbf world master , SCB visa infinite and RHB visa infinite lorr... the range is not so wide now as not so much bank offer it at current

it's 100k Minimum CL for your existing card to apply the Cimb world Master. As bro RockIron said, consolidate your every spending into Cimb plat card will make your way faster to be invited.
By the way i happen to found out that CIMB Plaza Damansara still having 1 hour world card Approval. Anyone interested can straight away go to that branch and get the card on the spot. Ain't sure the free luggage still on or not.

i think 40k is sufficient for Scb visa infinite. The income requirement is 150k, it's same with Hsbc plat visa.

if their minimum CL is 60k, then the requirement of 150k income will be quite low for it. Hsbc only offer half of the CL with the same eligibility. Last couple of month i did called Scb CS to obtain the visa infinite's info, but they seems clueless about it. The answer given similar to what i've get from some of the local bank's staff,it's never accurate , always perhaps and maybe. and i've backed off since.

i know some bank give ridiculously low limit plat. With 18k CL i think you can try Scb , uob , eon , or mbf. This is confirmed info as few of my friend get 15k limit on their plat. 20k CL you can try Citibank , Mbb , Cimb , Hong Leong , Pbb or Rhb. For 30k you can get Hsbc.
Hope this helps. Source is from real life experience from few of my friend. But it's really low limit and inconvenience if using it overseas.

Mostly bank determine CL by your income , but CL will increase gradually by time with your credit scoring, which capture thru your spending and payment pattern. If your usage is heavy enough and payment at least 50% above for total outstanding, they would glad to increase your CL often or by your request.
Some good way is consolidate your spending on one cc. Prompt card application is another way to increase your CL, often bank will give higher CL than your existing card. But the best is to prove your income increment to bank when request for a CL increase.
Here got a few sifu may have better way , just my 2 cents.

I remember one of the forummer mention before about the 1:1 FD tied Credit Card CL, not really sure about that because none of my card are FD tied. Anyone here can confirm this myth ?

just receive courier from Amex today , guess what ? Received an ipod nano 8gb. Letter inside written i've won on the month of november!!
Suprised as i checked back , my first 3k transaction was dated on 2nd of Nov, rarely win from those cc contest before. Lol. Hope the X6 will be the next one!

hmmm... I guess Amex send the redemption letter to you again for that ipod nano, they straight away send me the ipod together with the letter. wonder they practice different method in kl and selangor.

I just received the Ipod nano from AMEX recent contest. Consider to cancel the card also but will wait and see whether the 2nd year can waive the annual fee or not

i think you can call up your CC issuer and ask them to give you a temporary limit increase. Just tell them you are going overseas, give them the date of departure and limit required. No need to top up your account as most bank do provide this service by phone call only.

maybe bank was a little more concern about the reason on requesting for the temporary limit increase. I've tried Mbb, Hsbc and Cimb before as at that time my CL is rather low . They just asked me where i am going and how much do i required and approved within the same day.
