recently i notice my Galaxy 9800GT temperature was hit 90+ degree during play game....
is it something wrong with my cooler right? need RMA or change cooler?

whats the fan speed during tht?

may be 30%... but i leave it default setting... are the stock cooler is not PWM? if yes, automatically adjust fan speed accordingly the temperature ma....

my friends 8500gt goes to 100c when loading, fan kong-ed
idled 90c.

from some reviews that i've read, it's quite close between those 2 cards but seems that HD4850 is still leading.

Gts250 is pretty much a 9800gtx+ with a slightly higher oc and smaller remade pcb. Nothing more. This is even dumber than upgrading from gtx 280 to gtx 285, as for gtx 285 we get 55nm chip with more potential. Gts250 is just part of their marketing strategy to make their product lineup looks good. AFAIK, galaxy alrdy released a version of shorter pcb for the 9800gtx+, just in case if u all thought that gts250 new pcb awes you. But it's about time they officialized the new shorter pcb version, which the longer pcb doesnt even justify for its performance, lol

Will the new gts250 require lower power than gtx+ does? Moreover gts250 needs only one 6 pin power plug.

Yes the power requirement is less, but not at a significant amount. Why dun u try google around for gts250 review? There r alrdy tonnes of them all over the web.

Hell no. Must uninstall the driver 1st. Install the card, then reinstall the same driver. FYI forceware 182.08 is out. But not much diff compare to 182.06. Only added support to new cards such as gts250

nid to really clean all the driver files bro...later end up like me...my 4850 spotted as 4670....

btw,i already delete use driver sweeper and all driver cleaner and safe mode..but still spotted as 4670 tat time...maybe driver/vista glitch...

More like driver glitch to me.

subrok try make u fan speed 50% using extreme tuner sometime extreme tuner will bug if u make 100% speed it will automatic off that fan >.> suck rite
