help..i set my speed FAN at 60%..idle at 49c full load around 66c
but if i set it to 80% i also got same temps..then i changed it @ 40% and i got same temperatures ! ! what da heck happen to my gc??!

might be the sensors got prob?or after u reset the fanspeed try restarting the sensor application,or wait for a while.sometimes temp takes time to decrease

btw there's no way we could control the gpu fan speed in bios right? in the end i'll have to rely on software to do that right? so currently which is the best / stable software to control my gpu fan speed? kinda feel that my card is hot! (still not used to temp more than 70 to 80C for a card, even my mobo and cpu temp rise when gaming. all exhaust fan are pushing out hot air, casing is so hot i feel like sitting beside a radiator or something. )

btw AC accelero extream is out already right?

btw, how to check whether my new psu & gtx 260 function properly??
some of u guys said using furmark or 3dmark to stress gpu
then how to test the psu??
so far now i only test devil may cry 4 & maple story no problem at all

when i watch the DMC4's event movie (just b4 mission 1 start)
the game suddenly crash, and windows ask me to send error report or dont send
gpu problem??
i just uninstall 8500gt driver via device manager then straightly reboot & shutdown it (without using driver cleaner)
then i plug in gtx 260 then boot up pc & install new 182.08 driver
yesterday run DMC4 benchmark test without any problem occurs (all super high, 60fps max, 8x MSAA, vsync off)
is it psu has problem?? but if psu has problem, isnt pc will shutdown automatically??
will the problem occur bcoz my mobo does not support pci-e 2.0??

Try re-installing the game, if you use 'ahem' games, you will experience random crashes.

hahaha dude..dont test ur gpu with maple story
if u using lanun version..try get the latest crack lor xD

test awhile, played the bloody palace till mission 20 then lose, no crash
then play some cut-in movies via story theater, no problem occur at all
then watch again the mission 1 intro movie, then crash
looks like only that cut-in movie has problem?? will uninstall fix it??

what about other games? if other games are ok, then i doubt it's GC's problem.

try update the driver... maybe got conflict...

Ur DVD corrupted I guess.. Maybe some corrupted file ( the cut scene ) durin installation..

yah u should be ashamed alright, owning such a beasty card with only game (not even crysis) is a disgrace

Haha, you should try other more intensive graphic games such as crysis/far cry2 to enjoy your well spend card to the max..
