i heard tht the 55nm version gtx260 (i guess it applies to gtx280/285 as well) is using cheaper pwm's,thus u cant use any voltage control software with it.this gives the 65nm version an advantage when oc-ing compared to 55nm

btw speaking bout voltage control software,any nice 1 to recommend out thr?i know there's 1 by evga but does it work for outside cards (diff manufacturer)?

gtx260 oc enough edi la for 2day's standard,think bout those who still stuck at 8 or 9 series

manage to oc to 701/1220/1425 2day and passed vantage's graphic test 1 and 2 but the card fecking failed on a featured test doh.gif doh.gif .gonna gv up on oc-ing for the moment being

didnt monitor the temp since im inside vantage when the crash happen and my display goes full green then blank,nid to press the reset button

btw my card is flashed with custom vmod bios bringing up the extra to 1.12v

might be the sensors got prob?or after u reset the fanspeed try restarting the sensor application,or wait for a while.sometimes temp takes time to decrease

when i watch the DMC4's event movie (just b4 mission 1 start)
the game suddenly crash, and windows ask me to send error report or dont send

i just uninstall 8500gt driver via device manager then straightly reboot & shutdown it (without using driver cleaner)
then i plug in gtx 260 then boot up pc & install new 182.08 driver
yesterday run DMC4 benchmark test without any problem occurs (all super high, 60fps max, 8x MSAA, vsync off)
is it psu has problem?? but if psu has problem, isnt pc will shutdown automatically?? rclxub.gif
will the problem occur bcoz my mobo does not support pci-e 2.0??

1920x1080 at dx10 all settings super high,16xQ AA still playable for me.

average at 55fps

before dis i was at 1680x1050,100+ fps tongue.gif

yes.but depends on ur preference.some ppl regard 30fps-50fps as slow,while its fast enough for me.as long its nt lag like 20fps below thn im ok with it sweat.gif

till nw i haven't encounter any really slow scenes in all my games at 1920x1080 reso.except for crysis warhead the train scene sweat.gif

for crysis i use the ultra high quality mod and 4x AA.

for warhead i use gamer settings with some chg to enthuasist with 2x AA

up to ur preference,if u feel its slow can tweak till ur satisfied
